Mayday Parade still plays with my emotions every. single. time.
Its been 5 years since this album came out, my senior year of college, and little did I know how much this album was going to mean to me. After losing whom I thought to be the love of my life, and struggling for years to figure myself out, the line at the end "I want you to notice when I let go" resonated to my very soul for so long. I knew She'd never notice, She's forgotten about me, but I for one have noticed myself letting go, and now I understand that's all I ever needed.
I'm in this situation rn.

+Briana Actually its not easy in this genre this is considered fairly hard (i can play this) other people have different definitions of hard guitar solos because of genres and shit like listen to goodbye graceful falling in reverse and skip to 220 that's what my other guitarist in my band considers an easy solo yet I consider it right in the middle of easy and hard XD

I haven't been around to listen but I've been on a Mayday Parade feels trip in the past few days and I sure love listening again feeling like I'm a teenager again. This band will forever be on that list of my go-to bands whenever I feel down.

Just listened to Losing my Mind and then decided to take a trip down the rabbit hole. All of their songs are so bittersweet to listen to, and I love the feeling they give me, even if it hurts sometimes with the memories I have attached to them.
I'm so insanely hopeful that they're playing at Warped Tour again this year.
Mayday Parade has been a big inspiration for me. Every song can describe real situations with relationships yet they are all unique and not cliche.

Mayday Parade consists of 5 members Derek (the lead singer), Brookes and Alex (rhythm guitar, and guitar) Jeremy (aka Cabbage,Cabbie(he's also. the bassist) And Jake (Drummer and singer)
They have been around for almost 10 years and currently have 4 albums and are working on their 5th. With Monsters in the Closet being the most current.
Mayday Parade is pretty incredibly awesome on stage they have a great energy and excitement about them.
My personal favorite songs are Ghosts, Black Cat, Jamie all over, oh well, and stay. I recommend listening to these.
Our fans are pretty incredible and supportive.

Mayday Parade has changed so much over the years, with every album they released it helped me change the way I feel about the things around me, and on occasion I already felt the same way that the album would make me feel... I gotta honestly say this is one of the few bands where I like how their music changes from album to album

This may be bold BUT if Mayday Parade would have come on the scene 5 years earlier (like 2002 instead of 2007), I'm confident they would have been regarded as one of the best pop-punk bands ever. The musical skill, the melodies, everyone sings well, they just a touch late!
