    In my opinion “we don’t have any plans to at this time” actually means “yes but I’m not going to tell you because you’ll get angry” haha
    Great video. I have a lot of internal rants so watching yours is quite comforting in a way to know other people feel the same way as me. Thanks Rod!

    Great video Rod 👍🏻 Would you consider doing a video on the problem of mass migration to The West.

    Completely agree, it's not about the environment. It's just control. Always good to hear from you rodster.👍

      If it’s not about reducing car usage. Why would they want to control our movement? What are they gaining by restricting our movement?

    • @rodster6campingprepper
      @rodster6campingprepper  9 місяців тому +1

      I agree they want to reduce our car usage but not for the environment. Because car (and population) numbers are out of control. Which is a problem of their making, not ours. Yet the restrictions will be on us, not them.

    One thing I've noticed about electric vehicles is how much quieter they are on the road compared to fossil fuel powered vehicles. I'm pretty sure there'll be more accidents involving pedestrians as the shift to electric vehicles takes hold.

    I hope more and more of us ask ourselves these questions, even more I hope we will not comply with any of this BS, thank you for your good work I appreciate what you do. 👍

    I agree on the cereal. I used to think it was healthy until I started looking into low carb diets and nutrition. It's actually quite shocking, all the food that's bad for you is made by big manufacturers creating unnecessary food products.

    Nothing to do with energy weapons! Course not. They didn't burn out people who wouldn't leave their homes in Maui either, so I'm told.

    government food propaganda, re the wheat, similar thing happened in US with margarine...lobbying by margarine manufacturers that it was healthier than butter when its reverse. also demonising of msg.

    epc: ive got a wood cooker and heating 100% rewable wood fuel from a forestry, but they brought in laws that you need wood kiln dried by giant gas ovens, so kiln dried wood uses fossil fuels! fortunately i buy enough i can get it unkiln dried....for now....loads of regulations mean firewood producers stop...i know of one. and yet if i sell my ouse i would need and epc and a gas or electric heating system, unwated unsulation to make my house unhealthy and hot in summer. i have far less illnesses now my house has ventilation after moving. what a waste of money and damage to environment just to tick a box....

    I've written to my local Ipswich Borough Council multiple times complaining about their plans for a 15 minute town, and asked them exactly what their plans are, and they've ignored every single email.

    • @alithealien
      @alithealien 9 місяців тому

      So why do you think they want to implement these 15 minute towns? What are they gaining from it?

    The 15 minute neighbourhood is suppose to get people out of their cars. We need to go back to local services, like we’ve had for 1000 years. Thinking everything is a conspiracy will be the downfall of mankind
    Agree about buying local goods though.

    • @tincanblower
      @tincanblower 9 місяців тому +1

      Exactly! The 15 minute neighbourhood is often dismissed by people who complain about people "nowadays" driving everywhere.
      It "wasn't like that in their day", but they forget the fact so many services have been decimated by cuts for at least the last 12 years, but longer in a lot of cases.
      Buying local produce is a key reason for 15 minute neighbourhoods :)

    • @tincanblower

      And when you believe one conspiracy, everything else looks like one as well!

    • @0liver0verson9

      Disagreeing with 15 minute neighbourhoods hardly equals thinking everything is a conspiracy. They're a very real threat to freedom and liberty, in plain sight. Maybe their creators have the best intentions, maybe not. But the result is the same either way.

    • @alithealien
      @alithealien 9 місяців тому +1

      @@0liver0verson9 why are they a threat to freedom and liberty?

    • @tincanblower
      @tincanblower 9 місяців тому

      @@0liver0verson9 I'm interested to know how having more local services is a threat to liberty and freedom?
      Surely they increase liberty and freedom?
      I have a local doctors surgery, which makes sense in case they have to do a home visit (I can choose to have one somewhere else but for obvious reasons I choose the local one).
      I have a shop and a library within 15 of me, easily - but I choose to use shops and libraries in other areas either because I prefer them or because they're more convenient on the day.
      If there's a suggestion that you'll ONLY be able to use the local services, then that's obviously a different thing entirely - but to my knowledge there hasn't been any suggestion of that (in the UK at least).
      If your news source is QAnon, David Icke or someone like that then I suppose any argument in favour of them will make me look like a sheep!
      It'll be 5G next! Haha

    I actually think you could scrap planes without too much impact on society. We managed without them for hundreds of years. Keep them for the emergency services and military only.

    • @Dandroid5000
      @Dandroid5000 9 місяців тому

      Absolutely no need to scrap planes whatsoever.........co2 has been demonised, it's all a scam and it's all about taxing us into oblivion while they all line their pockets. Check out the Club of Rome some time......they're the elitist globalist think tank that came up with the idea of using environmental issues as a way of controlling society. Ever since the 60's we've seen constant inflation, heavier taxation, lower prosperity/increased poverty for the general population, whilst the top 5% have become increasingly more wealthy and exert more power over the rest of us.
      Their ideal political system is a form of feudal corporatism......communism for the masses ruled over by a bunch of demented fascist billionaires. Planes flying around in the sky are the least of our worries....

  • @PhilWaud

    Completely disagree with your view on Sadiq Khans plans. The source of pollution is where the tax should apply. Yes it costs more to those people but why should everyone else pay because they wont make the life changes that will reduce their impact. The adverse impact of one by election result that made all political parties start to backtrack on their carbon reduction plans is massively damaging.
