If you would like to replace your glass microwave tray, go to a second hand store. They have a plethora of glass microwave plates in every size imaginable. Very helpful video. Thank you.
Thanks for the tip! We ordered a replacement for ours off of Amazon, but we'll keep that in mind if we end up needing another one. Glad you liked the video.
Suggestion you should put your knives blade up on your magnet strip. That way you won’t reach over there and accidentally stab yourself while you’re working in the area. The only reason I say this is I just recently purchased a magnetic strip and in the directions it recommended putting blades up. Thanks for sharing your kitchen with us.❤
We started with them up but somehow we've managed to have more mishaps with them facing up and getting in and out of the upper cabinets. We did them same when we had a magnetic rack in our sticks & bricks ... started with them up, but ended up with them facing down. Having it against a full wall, and in this case with a piece of trim on the countertop that prevents items from actually getting under the blades, seems to be working alright for us. Glad you liked the video and hope you found something to take away from it.
Really nice walk through of how you organize your Airstream. We use a stovetop percolator for coffee. We still grind the beans fresh. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you found it helpful! Stovetop percolators are so awesome. We used to have one at our hunting camp. But in the interest of saving space, I just use a kettle that works on the induction cooktop or gas cooktop. And can be used to make coffee, tea, boil water, etc.
I use a water kettle and do pour over! Super easy and the dripper doesn't take up anymore space than a coffee cup. If you've already got the kettle, give it a try! Instant is a great backup. Caffeine is a priority for me lol
It is amazing how much we can fit in the tiny kitchen! And also crazy to think how much kitchen "stuff" we didn't bring with us. Just shows how little you need.
Classic 33FB, 2018 & we covered 33 states our first year out. This was a great walk thru, as you actually love to cook. We love to cook, but our first year out I think we treated more like vacation. As we head west & then to Acadia hopefully we'll cook more. (Harvest Host & markets ) Look forward to see where you store the vacuum ( we have 2 pups on board & use a cordless Shark) We use a collapsible pour over for coffee & loads of collapsible items. Organizing is my thing, so I look forward to checking out your other vlogs ~ (Our induction top is stored in the desk chair ) Not sure if I should share your site with Vinnie, as he is always hungry 😄 Wanda & Vinnie (Piper & Jackson) Charleston SC
It's easy to treat it like a vacation and eat out too much (and trust me we enjoy trying new restaurants as much as everyone else 😋). I've got the vacuum stored in the bathroom. It's a Dyson. The stick leans up against the wall and stays out of the way (surprisingly). The canister tucks into the corner on the bathroom counter so it can also be plugged in. With two dogs I vacuum every damn day 🤦🏼♀️ I'm glad it comes across how much we like to cook. I hope you'll follow along for more RV cooking and share your favorites and tips along the way too! Hope to see you down the road!
Correct! We did another video specifically about the induction cooktop and the benefits of using one. But we highlight that it's not for everyone - especially those with a pacemaker. At least not without checking with your doctor first. 👍
We have an airstream classic and I could not organize without bins in every cabinet. Bigger bins work better for us than small bins do. Your over the fridge cabinet looks like a perfect place for bins. 😎. Thanks for the tour.
Trust me I think about bins for that area each time I open it LOL. But what we store up there can change from week to week depending on what we're cooking. I think doing bigger bins like you suggested helps keep things organized while not losing too much space to the bins themselves.

Let’s go Budlight!!! Cool video ya’all!!
Haha, it works! 🍻
I've switched over to instant coffee & an electric water kettle. I, too, sold my espresso machine! 😂

You guys always make me hungry 😄
Haha. Glad you're enjoying.
@@RamblinHamblins it’s amazing how much you all have available in your kitchen area

Do you have a link for the pepper mill grinder?
Sure do. This this is awesome. Works great, compact and stores upside down so you don't end up with pepper everywhere.

I used that link, too! What a great find. Thanks!
Awesome! Enjoy.
No strong magnetsm especially in small area, if you have a pacemaker
