Man war really is terrible. I find myself hating Russia and Russians more and more each day it drags on, and then I see this video. A man who wants nothing but be with his family, at peace and trying to help others get better at a certain skill. Instead you are seperated from your family for who knows how long, in a strange country with just your small guitar. It truly breaks my heart. Wish you nothing but the best Pavel, im happy for you for the recognition you are getting and hope for a swift reunion with your family in a Russia that no longer spends unnecessary lives in a pointless war, or wherever you want to be in the world!

Please, let's not hate Russia (which is a great country and a great culture) and Russians (who are beautiful and lovely people with huge sensitivity for arts and literature), let's hate AUTHORITARIANISM, NATIONALISM, PATRIOTISM, MILITARISM and, above all, let's hate those who Bob Dylan called MASTERS OF WAR!
I have no country but music, no weapon but the guitar, and my blood brothers are musicians. Because they all - and they only - speak my language.

@@KyleTheDalek Yes. I honestly think that common people from Russia (like our brother Pavel and many millions of others) are innocent. I also think that most of Putyin's supporters are innocent. Because they don't know the truth.
You can blame Putin, not the Russians; Xi Jinping, not the Chinese; Netanyahu, not the Israelis; Trump (or Biden), not the Americans; Berlusconi (or Salvini or Meloni), not the Italians.

I have been following you since when i was only 7 years old and started to play guitar, now im 15 and still do and will be following you! Love everything you do, as a Die- hard Knopfler fan It's evident that you put your heart and soul into your content, and it's a joy to be part of his journey through his amazing videos. You have the feeling and determination of a kind, generous and talented musician. I really do feel bad for you because the war in russia that detached you with your family, and you lost your job. Im sure that you will find peace and happiness. Sure will. Just want you to keep making these vids, stay happy and keep on rocking!

    Cher pavel,

You're a lucky man. That is wonderful. I view techniques as things we can build upon to help our expression in music, and to just make music better. You can use techniques and you can enhance styles. I am proud that you get satisfaction out of this. Unfortunately, war is a shame. Life is hard. With all the egregious human sickness going on where human beings have to suffer, we are here getting along together with music and love just fine. :)

Hey Pavel, I just wanted to add to all the great comments here and say thanks for all your teachings over the years.
Growing up in the eighties, listening to MK I could never figure out quite how he played his riffs but thanks to you I'm much more comfortable with what I'm playing. You are the number 1 guy to go to to understand how MK gets his sound. The endorsements you've received from him and his team are fully justified and you should feel proud to have the backing of one of the music industries greatest guitarists/song writers. Well done, keep up the good work and hopefully you and your family will be reunited soon. 👍🏻

Thank you Pavel, for all you offer the world.: a glimpse of what it feels like to play Mark's songs. I admire your attention to detail and method of conveying what is considered to be very difficult and highly revered guitar mastery. You have helped to make me respected by my musician friends. I am an amateur guitar player and hobbyist in the US. I feel like I owe you something. How can I help you and your family?
