Making Fudgy Chocolate Brownies!

Brownies:
10 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs, at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips (Optional)
Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease an 8x8 baking dish, set aside.
In a microwave safe bowl add your butter and brown sugar. Place into the microwave for 30 second intervals, mixing between each 30 seconds. Repeat this 5 times until the mixture is nice and glossy. There will still be granules from the sugar. Once your mixture is glossy add your eggs 1 at a time mixing between each egg. Whisk until the color lightens slightly. Add your vanilla extract and mix well. Then add your dry ingredients (cocoa powder, flour, and salt). Fold until combined. Lastly if you are adding any inclusions, now is the time to add them. Once your inclusions are folded in, pour your batter into your prepared baking dish. Spread the batter evenly across the dish and place into the oven for 25-30 minutes, until you can stick a toothpick in and its not completely clean, but not gooey. Let cool and enjoy.
