People just think, for one reason or another and I'll point at movies, that short people aren't capable of being much of anything. Leaders are tall, sports players are tall, good fighters are tall. Even if this isn't true, this is whats been shown by pop culture. Video games, tougher enemies are bigger, bosses or important characters are taller etc.
Short people make up the dregs, grunts and fodder. When was the last time you seen a short stature leader in media entertainment? Now name one that was well received other than the ones who made their entire gimmick about being short and made people either hate it or love it because there wasn't much else [looking at you FMA reboot, looking at you reeeaaaaal hard]
You should bring in different height friends and strap a go pro to their head and walk around the house to see all the different perspectives.
