Which would be the best bang for buck ... Acer Helios 300 i5 10300H RTX 2060 or Asus ROG Strix R7 6800H RTX 3050 ? Basic engineering and gaming task

@@jason2080 I don't have any problem for now. I bought mine days ago. I just want to be sure I'm using the right bios where it solved the problem of this laptop.
My arkham knight runs at 70-90fps at all maxed settings
I have fb03 bios version with windows 11
The only problem in this computer is the high performance mode it makes the computer heating and slutter in games dropping fps but when you run it in entertaining mode it works perfectly i dont understand why but this is my case
Would this be better than the Acer nitro 5 with i5-12500 and rtx 3050?
rtx 3050 is so bad u should buy this and upgrade the ram to 16gb if u can

Yeah, but not that much. I would prepare a slightly slower gpu with greater power efficiency than slightly faster gpu all day. Running with lesser heat means prolonged overall laptop longevity, that's a win for me. For you is different, I understand.
but the 4060 beats the 3060.
@@TheTopListHub these kinda cheap laptops are not made for longlivety. Business laptops are. Anyway other tests i saw had very good heat values regarding 3060 in laptops. I can buy a 3060, which i just did, for 800 dollars. The cheapest 4060 is 1500 dollars (in sweden). I get 2 laptops for that price. So when 1 dies in 3 years i could start using the second one 😅 And in any case one wants a new laptop after 3 years even if its still working
it depends with how you use, what brand and model the laptop is. Business laptop are meant for business not gaming. Yes, it can last longer but it's expensive and has worst price to performance ratio compared to gaming laptops. And it's not 4060 but 4050. 3060 is slightly expensive than 4050 in here.
They are performing quite simmilar, but dont forget the 4050 got dlss3 and upscaling and this can be huge in a low budget system
Is the battery life really that bad? Only 1 hour just for social media browsing and watching videos? This would've been a really great deal if it wasn't for that bad battery performance
im pretty sure that's a typo.. there's no way it lasts only an hour.

okay, after watching the whole video, this whole review is very very off. a lot of things are wrong and the battery life stated in the video isn't accurate. the g5 is perfectly fine.

because A LOT, and i mean A LOT of other sources state almost the opposite of the claims here, especially in the performance department. may be because of optimisations made after the review was made, but this review is definitely inaccurate. @@neilborbon
the g5 mf comes without os and got 8 gb ram not 16.
nope i bough a 32 gb ram version and there is a 24 gb and 16gb

This isn't accurate I have the same laptop and I get around 100-110fps on pubg max settings
This laptop is unique but not unique trait alone will make me buy it instead of

Fake update bios . We can get upto 70+ fps on extreme settings this is rtx 4050 not gtx . Stop spreading. Negative about this laptop
Totally agree, we got this with first bios version and that is how we tested it, because there were not any upgrade. People are reporting that is all fixed and works well now.
