the first one may have actually been meant to keep someone prisoner or isolated. depending on when the house was built, i wouldn’t be surprised if someone with a mental illness or someone who was kidnapped was kept down there a long time ago.
It looks like a normal room, some rooms lock from the outside so maybe this was a closet, would be weird though because there's a drain the brown stuff might be rust
One of my friends lived in the house the serial killer couple the Birnies used to own. This was many years later and they were not aware of the previous owners when they first bought it. They found out later. So when they found some odd looking small pieces of bones in the backyard, they took no chances and called the cops. They came and dug the whole backyard up again, and found further remains of one of the girls they killed.😳😳
Yikes that’s freaky!!! I thought that major crimes like murders etc are supposed to be disclosed to new homeowners? Not everywhere I guess… and if someone is renting then that probably wouldn’t apply…?? 🤷🏼♀️
And then dig under there, make 2 rooms (1 above the other) and add a discreet grate in between the two rooms and in the lower one, put garbage and in the upper one, you put roadkill and a fake skeleton and put ground meat in between the bones now seal the hidden rooms with floorboards and leave it for the new people living there to find out about it.
And do it in glow in the dark paint so it doesn’t appear until they’re going to sleep Edit: oh shit I didn’t get to that part of the video yet when I commented and just saw that’s exactly what they did 😭
My aunt bought a home in Philadelphia that had been foreclosed on and seized by the bank, or something like that. Anyways, the previous owners were a husband and wife, and their two big dogs. The wife had just been to the doctor, who advised the husband that he should remove all potentially dangerous weapons out of the house, as the wife was depressed and at risk of ending it all. Apparently, that night or sometime soon after, he put a shotg*n on her nightstand, and she ended up doing what the doctor was worried she'd do. After that, the guy just packed up and left, leaving the dogs and everything. The hardwood floor needed to be replaced, but I think the dogs ended up surviving and getting out. The house was left in the same condition that he left it in, minus the wife's body of course, which was found and removed sometime a few days later. When we went to help clean the house after she bought it, there was one room upstairs that was REALLY strange. It was a small bedroom, the smallest one out of three. It was completely empty, except for an old bird cage hanging from the ceiling in the center of the room. The door to that room was also much different than all the other doors. It wasn't a light, indoor bedroom type of door, but rather a very heavy metal door, like one you'd have to get into the garage or outside, with the deadbolt portion and everything. My mom and I were cleaning that room, and we noticed that there was a big hole in the drywall, right under the light switch. The walls were so dirty you couldn't tell what was what between the layers of shit on the wall, but we did notice some substance on the wall, like a weird texture of something that dried to the wall. After having heard the story about the previous owners, we both had the suspicion that we might have inadvertently cleaned old, dried brain matter off a wall.
We just redid our Basement and while we were doing it, we found a jar and the jar was filled to the brim with dentures. That’s the craziest house experience I’ve had.
@catbatrat1760 it was useful for my parents. although my mom was creeped out at first because there was a black wet garbage bag. my mom wouldn't open it until my dad came home. It was just ashes, but it still freaked her out at the time.

A pentagram isnt satanic, by the way, its actually a protective symbol, its only seen as satanic because of Hollywood and movies. So sanding it off could have removed the protective effects of it.
When I was a kid, we moved into a house where the child's bedroom had a lock on the outside of the door. What's even more creepy is that one day, mom seen a little boy standing in my room while I was asleep. I don't have a little brother...
The under the bed glow in the dark thing is from a 90s movie called idle hands. Great movie! Probably got the idea from there and did it before the move as a joke
I‘m from Germany and when I moved into my apartment, I didn’t know it came with a basement. My neighbors said that this apartment comes with a basement and I found a CRT TV and a magazine about furniture from 1998 and 1 License Plate in my basement.
We bought a house built in the 1890's answered excited to find lots of interesting things when we remodeled. All we found was an old Hustler magazine stuffed behind a bathroom vanity.
11:11 This might be a reference to the Movie "Idle Hands" in which one of the first scenes feature writing on the ceiling that says "IM UNDER THE BED" before the MCs Mother gets dragged under the bed. It's possible that this could be just a "fun" nod to the movie. Especially since it's in glow in the dark paint which was also used within the film.
the first one looks like an old boiler room, "dark brown" stuff is most likely water mixed with rust that stained the concrete, and where the electrical is they probably put a water heater or maybe ac/heat, and they probably closed it off because they got rid of the old equipment and the room wasnt needed anymore, in our house the previous owner closed up a pantry in the kitchen which made no sense, so we opened it back up and made it back into a pantry
@@misseselise3864 A normal lock might have been used since the door was hidden already. My first thought when I saw it was, “that would make an awesome gun room!”

At 6:29 I have to say that the pentacle/pentagram is not always a thing of satanism. It depends on from where you're looking at it. Pixels, IK u probably wont see this since it wasn't on the news or anything but my mom was on the way to work and she walked in the garage to see an old TV box out, she went to put it away but it was heavy so she looked inside and say a 20 something girl stuffed in there, she looked dead, my mom screamed and started crying, the neighbors heard and called 911, the police and paramedics and everyone got there and my mom called my dad, I was in my room (my mom and dad have separate houses a block away from eachother) and I heard my dad screaming about a dead body, I was crying and asked what happened but he just said "your staying here tonight I'm going to your moms house" my mom was calming down and they dragged the box out and the girl woke up, she wasn't dead, the night before there was a big party a few houses down, she was super intoxicated and stumbled out, our garage was slightly open so she stumbled in and said and I quote "I was cold." by the morning she was passed out and I don't know HOW SHE FIT in there but she did, she is alive though but my family is traumatized.
found a dead body in my attic. My mom took care of it, called the police and such. so i’m not sure what happened.. might be the grandma that used to live here that died in the house.
13:35 I'm not an expert on stuff like this by any means, but this could possibly be death by spontaneous human combustion. It's where someone dies by fire with no apparent external source (in other words, the fire came from inside their body). I've heard of a few stories of this and all of them report a faint outline of the victim's body made of the ash of the body and a foul smelling odor accompanying it. Idk, it's a possibility.
I disagree. This is from a body left decomposing. "As a body decomposes over hours, days, and weeks, blood and fluids will leak out and penetrate porous materials. The longer the body remains, the worse the damage becomes. Fluids may even permeate the flooring, baseboards, and walls." You can find examples of this happening on floors, on furniture and other places online. It will leave an outline of a person easily depending on length of the body left to break down. Quite eerie.
Thats literally not a real thing. Look it up. Britticania says its fake, Wikipedia says every case of that overlooked a source of ignition, and Buisiness Insider says its a hoax. All 3 of the top results on Google says its not real.
Yeah, was about to say. Purging liquid and decomposition burns through the grass around it if a body is left in a field, it easily does that to a floorboard if the body stays there long enough.
