- I made Daredevil From polymer clay then Painted him warhammer style. I really Enjoyed the new techniques Iearned from this project and this one turned to be my most favorite sculpt to date!

Your sculpting has leveled up since the Shao Khan sculpture, and that sculpture was already really good. But this sculpture and the Batman one are just a cut above the rest. Can't wait to continue watching your progression as an artist!

It is casted from Poly stone bro, so it is quite safe to bake.😁

Yes bro, clay that I used was Polymer clay which is a type of clay that should definitely be baked if you wanna display them, I also do multiple bake per piece, specially if there are tons of details and small parts that can be easily smudge.
As for the skull, yeah I made them, 3 different sizes then casted and mold them for mass production.

Amazing work man! Subscribed! If I may ask, why do you use the Liquid Sculpey under the Super Scupley? Also, what liquid do you use to soften the Super Sculpey?

Now to answer your question, I apply Liquid Sculpey on my armature to prevent the initial layer of clay from moving around while I’m working on it, also, I noticed from my personal experience, if I don’t do that, whenever I do my first bake, the clay detaches from the armature due to a pocket of air trapped because it wasn’t properly secured. Hope you get my convoluted explanation.😅
Depends bro, either baby oil or turpentine,
Turpentine to blend really deep separations of clay or if I knew that I will be touching that surface over and over again and not ready to bake, as turpentine once it evaporates, will keep the clay its firm consistency, unlike baby oil.
Baby oil, only if I am ready to bake, as it evaporates slowly and will prevent it from cracking.

Well for me, Before I got into sculpting, I was really interested in buying Mass produced statues and have them displayed proudly in my man cave, but now, Since I have the ability to make my own, I prefer making them, giving it a personal touch, and besides, it is such a good conversation starter whenever someone visits me.😂
@@JustHobbyByJustin The reason I asked that question was as an Artist myself I see many mass produced models, loads of videos of 3D Printed Models, but I'm not sure it's because I'm an Artist that for me the hand sculpted work is so much unique and if you create a one off it must be more valuable. To own a model that is mass produced it won't feel like its collectible or original.
I think your sculpts are fantastic and they are so much more collectible and valuable.
The 3D Artists that create models for resin printing are incredible and very talented and the models especially in polystone look awesome, but there isn't a feel that you own something original.
I would always encourage collectors to buy handmade sculptures anytime.
Keep producing those sculptures you've got a great talent, it's hard because good sculpting clay is expensive but keep them vids coming. Not sure if you have sold any of your models I imagine you have. But will have to get in touch to do some collab work.

Hey bro, I either use Turpentine or baby oil. Depends. If I’m sure that i will not be touching the piece again, and I will bake immediately, then baby oil, but if otherwise, if i feel like i will have to touch it again (revise or something), then I’ll use turpentine. Hope it helps
