The horse guards (boxmen) only do an hour. The foot guards do two hours duty.

Why do adults always try & get or push there way in to children's pictures when they want a photo taken with the guards & horses. Do rude.
I saw that in York when two children were waiting for dad to take photo outside York Minster Cathedral, these two ignorant old women stood in front of them, I am not ashamed to say that I told them to move before my stick went up their rear ends, soon moved when they saw I had a temper. The dad thanked me, said no problem, hate people like that, he said you stopped and waited and it was much appreciated. They were busing family, came down from Scotland. Nice family.
