A wool mattrass, duvet and pillow? Wow an early adopter. We have been making wool duvets for over 14 years, I'm glad you talked about it's abilities to regulate temperature. For us a lighter duvet does all year round. It can also give a lot of comfort for those going through menopause. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for your review. I recently, after tons of research and your lovely vid. Bought myself two wool duvets, one is winter and one summer.
In summer I'll use the thinner one and the medium in winter. At present I put which ever one I'm not using on the mattress and sleep on that. I purchased a few pillows two.
I can not tell you how much I love it. Cocooned in wool. I've never slept so well and for so long. I'm never cold, nor do I overheat. Just the perfect temperature. I wake up feel wonderful. I don't wriggle.... just sleep soundly.
My Jack Russell loves it the most 😁

We sleep on and with wool from Shepherds Dream products. They are very pure and come from very, very humanely treated sheep. I think we probably pick up on the purity of the products and the kind treatment of the animals. Enjoy!

Hi Karen. Can you tell me what it feels like to sleep on it? how thick it is? I'm thinking about getting a shiki Bhutan. I know there are toppers that can make things more comfortable, I know there are woolfelts there's so many different options for making it more comfortable, I just don't know which ones. I don't like really huge bulky things I would like it to be lighter weight.

There is this study that says that both wool and linen have a frequency of 5000, which is why they are great for your body, which has a frequency of 100.
Polyester has a frequency of 10 or 15. Which is equivalent to that of a dead body.
I used a linen pillowcase the other day for the first time and when I woke up I also felt like I had slept way better than normal.
Today I got a wool blanket so I am curious to learn what it will do.
Never use something with both wool and linen mixed, because they will zero each other out, which is even harder on your body than Polyester. (The bible also states this)

What do you think about a 100% wool pillow with 100% cotton own cover and me adding a 100% linen pillow cover (if I find any) over it? My other easy to get option is a 100% cotton pillow cover.

    • @DDDD17890
      @DDDD17890 Рік тому +1

@@daughterofthemosthigh1188 That is what I am still unsure of. Since the debate is that wool and linen zero each other out when put on top of eachother, as per this study. Which then would loose it's benefits, as far as healing properties.
But with a layer of cotton in between, with a frequency of 100, who knows what that would do?
And then there is the confusion of what the bible really says when it says not to wear wool and linen together. Some say not mixed in the same garment, some say not even layered. I wish there was a way we could measure the frequenties ourselves.
Anyways, i have been sleeping under a wool blanket since a few weeks now and it is the best blanket I ever had!

@@DDDD17890 Absolutely the same doubts that I have. I think I'll stick with buying a wool pillow and putting it in a cotton pillow cover.
I get cold during night time so until 2 days ago I used to sleep with 4 synthetic duvets (in the winter I double it) which people never believe me that it is true but they feel heavy. On top of that, recently I started sweating and feeling as if suffocating while trying to sleep. And I'm young and my weight is normal so those aren't the problems. So for 2 days I've been sleeping with old wool blankets we have and it's been great! I feel really refreshed and full of energy. I used to have a problem falling asleep too and it must have been because this synthetic was suffocating my body. Satan is truly trying to kill us all and make us malfunction with all this terrible replacements of what Yahweh has intended for us to use.
Now I'm only wondering if I should get a new wool blanket or a wool duvet (whatever it is it'll be put in a cotton cover).

@@DDDD17890 Amen! Praise Yahweh, the Greatest of all!
I now wonder if I should go with a wool duvet or a goose down one? Both are pretty costly so I should choose wisely. Which one would you go for?
Most of my clothes are from natural materials (except for winter jackets/some winter vests) and whenever I had that was synthetic, even if I didn't know about all of this back then, since I've always sought Yahweh deep inside, the Holy Spirit always warned me something is really off and shouldn't be on my body. And years later, He gave me that knowledge and I understood why I was feeling very uncomfortable both spiritually and physically. Sadly, for winter jackets it get very difficult to find 100% wool ones. 99% of the times the lining is polyester.
Same story with food. For the most part I knew through the Holy Spirit that certain foods weren't good. I've stopped all the nasty pork meat and unclean sea food (not that I ate lots of it) and now I can't even stand the smell of pork and get sick by it.
I really can't wait until Yahweh restores everything the way it should be and for us to be forever in His presence.

Can raw wool be used (like havelock insulation)? I remeber reading something the lanolin being a problem.

I was just wondering this too. I'm trying a wool duvet tonight. I'm 51 and have had down duvets since infancy so I'm goin’ out on a limb here. But I was wondering if Havlock insulation that I'm going to use for my van build could also go in a duvet and vice verse.

I bought wool mattress as you advised, for three hundred something 100% sheep wool and I was suffering for a month or so from smell ….then I had to wash it with dish soap, baking soda and gallon of vinegar ,,,,,then I had it on the roof under sun and wind for a month but it was still very smelly to sleep on it ; so, I had to toss it in the garbage after all the troubles. I wish I never listened your video

I wish there were more review videos on wool. Almost all modern mattresses have memory foam in them that trap heat. Wool really does help me sleep cooler. I’m just shopping for a more plush version. The one I bought from Birch I am returning because it’s too firm and the barn smell is overwhelming. I’m trying Wool Room next. Just make sure when you try one they have a good return policy. I really hope the next bed is soft enough.
