The elderly lady (91 years young), Joyce Gaiser, at minute 4:20 stated someone sprayed and killed the trees along the river. Who sprayed and killed the trees along the river and why? Native river trees provide up to 80 % of the food needed by the aquatic inhabitants in the stream.

Norge, I think they wanted to narrow the channel (1930s federal programs) so they cut down the trees to make it easier. It was not the right thing to do.

Hello, Congrats for the video and the program to restore riparian habitats. The video is great, I would like to use it with my students in the University in Spain, in my courses of River Rehabilitation & Restoration. However, for that purpose I need to set on the subtitles (because English is not our mother language, we need some help, specially with young students), and the subtitles in youtube are really horrible, please go and read them all along the video... This video with official subtitles would be really welcome.

They’ve done a good job. It’s almost 100% common sense. Conservation is on the ascendancy. This is great!

Hard to establish beavers without riparian forests first. If they don't have trees to build their dams and lodges or food to eat, introducing them is absolutely pointless.
