Calcharo was the strongest dps in the game pre release but they nerfed the shit outta him because he was too broken with yinlin buffing his lightning. Still pissed at kuro for nerfing him.

@@danny2973 You will lack of crowd control but yes, Calcharo is still a great single target DPS, and is the second best DPS in the game. Yinlin will increase that potential so you're fine as long as you have no problem with a single target DPS.
Personally i like Calcharo gameplay more than Jiyan, but i guess that comes with personal preference.

ok. as one that have both i can tell they are both good, BUT, Jiyan is easy to play, spam buttons and ulti gg,on the other hand, Calcharro full potential is out when you know how to hit and switch characters. When you learn that, and still without yinyin, i am faster with Calcharro, but i repeat, you need to really learn how to cancel animations and switch, not easy, not for everyone. have a nide day all!

Calcharon is very strong, but he is more difficult to play and requires you to have personal skills. Besides, Jiyan will be easier to play for beginners and people with low personal skills, as he has high aspd, making it easier for you to Parry the enemy. And he can crowd-control, too. no need dodge anymore😂
I main calcharo but i also have jiyan, and no it is not "No need to dodge anymore" Jiyan's Ultimate CC is not really that usefull against some of the Overlord-Calamity Bosses, He is Definitely Good against Thundering Mephis since that boss has a lot of Counterable attacks while the others like the Dreamless barely has any, same thing with the Turtle but that boss is super squishy so no problem

Not really a fair fight given how calcharo wasn’t near the boss at multiple times which meant no damage was being done, which gave advantage to jiyan
I mean, Even in Fair scenario on Spreadsheet. Calcharo can't beat Jiyan. Even with Yinlin, Calcharo is just on par with Jiyan or Encore.
For those who don't know calcharo+Yinlin synergy got Nerf, on top Calcharo Nerf in live version. There is already CN who calcs new combo and the result is Calcharo+Yinlin is on par with Jiyan and encore. Not to mention Calcharo is harder to really reach full potential consitently

i have both and i love alternating between the two so it doesnt get boring for me. Jiyan is much easier to play with bcs he's technically faster and stronger, but Calcharo's more player skill based which is good if you like a challenge (i also love the fact that he's based on sephiroth + big boss from metal gear)

I think play who you like the most, at the beginning it doesn't really matter. I personally prefer jiyan however I lost my 50/50 on him :(
Jiyan, he is the best DPS for a new player, comfy and strong. Calcharo is more complex to use and requires lots of techs.

@@Itsweeazie He has a very niche AOE playstyle that makes him unique, he might be powercrept by upcoming hypercarry DPS in theory but it will take a long time to replace his role. With that, I do believe that he'll stay around S for a while, if not, A - which is still really good. You are running arguably the best setup for most players right now, Jiyan Hypercarry.
Swap mortefi with sanhua, she buffs normal attacks
People saying verina and Calcharo combination will be deadly with animation cancel but why do hard work when u can just spam jiyan ult with mortefi and verina buff 💪
Now YinLin is the strongest role with calcharo

he cant even activate 5 set aero so throw that 30% dmg in the trash, and his 1st passive that grants him extra atk% and another 24% dmg bonus from his sig weap gone
You didn't even use jiyans ultimate properly that could kill that rider faster

Which one do you enjoy ? Thats the one you should use. Both are good so decided as to whether you enjoy one playstyle or not.

His Calcharo missed most of the heavy attacks, he was using Tempest Mephis instead of Thundering Mephis and he didn't even do his combo right.

My jiyan build is almost the same as yours but has maxed out skills, and has 5 star aero echoes, I use a 4/3/3/1/1 echo, ofc main echo is felian beringal, the current stats he has is 150 ER 60/220 CRCD, without ult he does 1k per attack and 5k if you use heavy strike and air strike, for resonance skill each hit does 5k and when you use resonance liberation with full stacks he does 40k on hit and 4k per hit, it really depends on how you build your Jiyan, I prefer his playstyle more as he has crowd control

Jiyan has more basic attack, his ult is cracked especially when in boss fights. Calcharo has a fewer basic attacks, but kicks harder compared to Jiyan, his kit however is a bit complex compared to the green Jing Yuan so Sepiroth here's gonna take the L efficiency-wise. If you'll be having Yinlin in your group however then I guess Calcharo can take the W with the Lustrous Razor since it's OK for him to be focused on Electro and base Attack rather than Jiyan's Crit Verdant Summit, but it's still good to prio Crit Dmg and Rate on Calcharo and using Verdant Summit, especially once he uses his Ultimate. Overall tho, Jiyan still takes the win (for now at least)

This wasn’t Calcaros best in slot weapon either.
They are both almost on par with Calcaro being better in boss fights with a team and Jiyan being better at mob control. Have and love them both. Waiting for a Verina alternative to have two fully fledged teams.

Lets be honest jiyan is a cheese character, Chalcharo is more of a specialist difficulty character and on this vid jiyan had 24% aero dmg and while Chalcharo had 0% of his own elemental damage boost

Ok, the ONLY REASON WHY JIYAN is Tier SS is because he is EASY TO PLAY, he's like the SPAM and ULT unit, just like Genshin Impact Characters, unlike Calcharo and Encore are PURE WUWA units... Dont worry Calcharo and Encore users, there is already a gameplay in utube that Calcharo and Ecnore OUTDMG Jiyan on a huge margin... but its not easy, again... both units are hard to use because of their combo and timing... ONCE you timed their combo, its GG.

Your builds are so bad my Calcharo with worse crit damage than yours does so much more damage than this i have both of them and the only advantage of Jiyan is his ult wich does very many hits in short period and also pulls small mobs but i'm lowkey regretting spending my guaranteed on him as my Calcharo seems to do more damage than him 😒

Calcharo is weaker all in all, but if you want me to pick id still go with Calcharo, played Jiyan for 2 days and just broke the game but same time it makes me lose brain cells playing him haha, Jiyan easy mode, Calcharo im having fun plus he lookslike Sephiroth😂
Calcharo will always beat jiyan for me as he feels more badass and fun to play.
Jiyan is nice because he has good cc against groups of enemies but I hate using him against bosses with mobility as they sometimes jump/run out of his ult range.
I think its unfair though to compare a standart banner character without a proper bis weapon to the first ever limited character who has a bis weapon thats made for him.
Calcharo combo kind of hard to use, but he's has potential when by one with bosses and can beat Jiyan in DPS. Jiyan more easy to use and has advantage when dealing with pve

She doesn’t. I play Encore and she is just harder to play and combos are harder to execute than Jiyan’s which is braindead.
Jiyan’s ease of use translates to better DPS bec of his AOE very useful in TOA and his parry mechanic that melts toughness bar of bosses and staggering them to dump massive combo dmg.
Maybe in open world single target where it is easier to setup burst dmg combo,Encore can be better.
I have already managed to clear even the level 90 enemies in TOA with Jiyan tho was not able to 3 star the lvl 90 bec of lvl gap.

The Encore hype just started when the CN tierlist came out stating she can out-dps Jiyan but that tierlist assumes perfect rotations for her with 0 margin of error which is unachieveable even for the most skilled player in the world.
U cant achieve perfect rotation in a single run in TOA, there will be hiccups practicality wise.

Jiyan has the most broken parryingn mechanic in game as of now, he has aoe grouping skill and his rotations are much easier to execute bec his kit is braindead.
With encore, if u misclicked your attack and entered Heavy Attack stance and cannot utilize swap cancel, then you already lost a lot of DPS from that mistake. That is just one way of how easy u can mess up her rotation, u can say skill issue or what but the avg players will not have the skill to achieve perfect rotations 90% if the time.
Meanwhile, with Jiyan, just cast ult and then go unga bunga u dont even need to worry about parrying bec he is a parry machine. Encore can’t even parry lol.

I used Encore and Jiyan in TOA the Hazard zone, Encore hits hard but so does Jiyan; however, I always clear faster and easier with Jiyan bec of EASE OF USE and oh AOE.

You have no ideal how to play Calcharo correctly, you did his entire rotation wrong from the beginning and messed it up even more in his ultimate.
There is no rotation in the video because there is no team, maybe you messed up saying "You did his attack patterns and combos wrong" in which case the same can be said for JIyan, despite all that though Jiyan is still better due to crowd control, but that could change after Yinlin drops so play whichever DPS you prefer, no one is going to reprimand you for using them
