There was no glaring misinformation however there are some items that should be noted. #1. NEVER touch a destroyed tank unless you have to perform a rescue. #2. Konstantin Rozhkov is Russian and may be trying to "act" like a westerner to make the propaganda more palateable. #3. Abrams tanks that were sent to Ukraine we the M1A1 variant that was at least 32 years old. This was not the best western equipment. #4. Russian tanks tend to use steel treads because they are cheap. Knocking the rubber track pads out of a western tank would create a less grippy surface on mud once the mud filled in the gap were the pad is. #5. It is highly unlikely that British contractors would fly F-16s in Ukraine because the UK does not operate the F-16. #6. None of the videos I looked at were monetized by UA-cam. This may be an indicator that Konstantin Rozhkov has an alternate source of funding. Special thanks to Kateryna Shenheliia and Nicholas Moran for their contributions. Why don't we in the west have more arms and ammo to help Ukraine with? Why is Russia in producing the west when they are a gas station with nukes? Wasn't all the sanctions supposed to send Russia into the gutter? ...or was the point all the way to hurt the Europeans competitiveness?

one truth American fliers whether military or commercial piolets both have vastly more hours of flight training but yes i loos bolt will reck billion dollar jet
I'd say that the more modern the equipment the harder it is to keep it operational. While a flat tire might keep any airplane on the ground, the F-16 cannot be flown w/out the flight computer.. Its inherent instability givies it fantastic maneuverability but also makes it uncontrollable without computer input.
Agreed. Also, Ukraine needs f16s for shooting down missiles and keeping airplanes at bay, not necessarily to engage in dogfights. Russians seem to be happy with their military while they live in abject poverty
No, Ukraine needs pilots qualified to be 4 ship leads. 4 ship flights are core to F-16 tactics. This takes years of flying as a fully qualified wingman while learning from the flight leads and IPs. If everyone in your squadron is just a new F-16 pilot without any leads or IPs this may get ugly.

Gulf War Vet here... my unit, 197th Inf. Bde. (M)(S) attached to the 24th ID received a bunch of M1A2's before the ground war started. In fact there was some discussion about the cost/benefit of switching out the tanks that armor knew and had trained on for slightly improved /different ones so close to the beginning of the offensive. Like you I was T.O.W. infantry but my section of T.O.W.'s were combined with a platoon of Infantry on 2 M113's with 1 carrying a 50. Cal and the other an M19 Grenade Launcher as well as a platoon or section of 2 M1A2's. The tanks led the way, infantry flanked left/right and we T.O.W. guys stayed in the center and that's how we traveled during the war until the cease fire was declared and we returned to our old unit formations. I actually got out of the Army in Jan of 1992 so I know we had M1A2's at least a year before hand.
@@somerandomboibackup6086 I'm not a tanker so I'm not familiar with the options on different models. All I can say for certain is that the new tanks were referred to as 'A2's" and there was quite a lot of discussion about whether it was wise to swap vehicles so close to the beginning of the ground war. There's a 24th ID Facebook group that spends all its time talking about the Gulf War. If it's important to you you might find a tanker there to confirm what I'm saying but I have absolutely no reason to make this up. I like Ryan and so I wasn't correcting him to "get" him or make myself feel superior. I genuinely remember the handoff. My Brigade being at the time the only "Separate" brigade in the Army was built like a 1/3rd scale division. Most divisions have 3 Brigades (or they did when I was in) and since we weren't part of a division we has resources and assets, again on a smaller scale, that most Brigades had to share with the rest of their division. And because everything was smaller It was easier to notice changes. I can't remember if it was the new tanks that came over with desert paint or if they were green and the old A1's were painted for the desert but I do recall the camp of the new A2's also being a factor of discussion in the decision to switch. Our M911 ITV's were still forest camo and we didn't get desert uniforms until just a couple months before the ground war started and even then some of us didn't get the desert boots because of limited stock on some sizes so we really were a hodgepodge of uniforms and camo heading in to the actual war. But as soon as Ryan said in the video that M1A2's weren't introduced until after the Gulf War my mental alarm bells went off with a specific memory of A2's being introduced to the 197th before the ground war started. Would I bet my life on it? Probably not. But it's a very clear memory so I'd probably wager a fair chunk of change.
I saw the video too. The guy also released a video of a "U.S. Marine" going over the tank, which looked sus. The Russians comment about learning from the captured vehicles made me laugh. "Look, the turret didnt go into orbit!!!" Edit: Also the purpose of rubber track pads is to extend the service life of the track. That shits expensive. Tall Tanker man is correct.
How was it sus?? They show pics of the marine when he served (not sure if in that certain video) He moved to russia, possibly pro russian (more likely neutral) Oh, but it's SO sus anyone who served could move somewhere else
@pierceplaysstudios245 It's a propaganda piece, everything about it is sus. And especially with it being Russian, you can assume generally the exact opposite of what they're saying is true

RE the Abrams: The tank hit a mine in "no-man's land" and lost a track... with the crew escaping unhurt. Ukraine was then unable to recover because of the location, and destroyed the interior of the Abrams with drones to prevent Russians getting access to the communications tech. At the same time, Russians were attempting to prevent Ukraine recovering the tank and shot it up with Kornet while Ukrainians were droning it. Both sides pounded the tank. When the battle lines moved, Russia claimed the tank... with the hole in turret (and other extreme damage) first appearing when the tank was put on display in Moscow. RE the Dude: I've see vids where he claims to have been an American Marine now married to a Russian and living in Russia. Overall, he seems to be connected to the Russian system (while NO ONE was allowed to climb on the displays, this dude as a pseudo-American speaking English and using a film crew, was both allowed to climb over the display's crown jewel, and was provided with a talking head Spetsnaz to deliver the hard core Russian propaganda). And, of course, SOMEONE is paying him.... and it isn't UA-cam. Overall his schtick seems to be Russia is a warm friendly place full on nice people where an average American-type Dude can be comfortably at home. That said, he is consistently a soft sell for the Kremlin.
Most people will not do enough research on what they see. So the fact the guy reveals he’s Russian might never be seen so it’s of no concern to that Russian reporter.
If he’s not claiming to be something he’s not, why are we pretending he did? Because he has a clean accent? This video opens saying says he’s from there and works for them. Then analyzing his speech to prove he’s from there. Than an interjection of “but it’d weird to have a video up explaining where you’re from and who you worked for if you’re trying to pretend to be something else” (which he isn’t). Then brings on a language expert to prove where he’s from from his accent, even though he already told us and never claimed otherwise. ???
Somebody should tell our Russian friend that the German military does NOT do parades with military vehicles. The rubber-padded tracks are being used to prevent road damage and to reduce noise (a bit).

It’s so interesting to listen to how some facts are twisted to suit the plot. The Leopard tank's gun was bent down purposefully, a reference to the German WW2 tanks, which were similarly mangled, symbolizing that they had been tamed. This was stated in all official press releases, and no one hid it.
Thanks for the tip. It's still propaganda in both cases, though. Designed to make it look like you can wreck a tank more than you practically can. (Plus that bit about 'most modern armour' - ignorance or misinformation?)
I'm half convinced that the reason you have such a hard time finding Konstantin's last name is that he's actually a character played by an actor (of sorts). He was recruited because he's news anchor handsome, pretty fluent in English and has minimized his accent. He's a good propagandist because he seems relatively harmless, so his message is more readily received. If he came across as a jingoistic, Russian super-patriot the reaction to him would be immediate and visceral, but because he's a milquetoast kind of character, who "sticks to the facts" there's less opposition to his messaging.
Russophobes are the most extreme conspiracy theorists. The media joins in and participates so their no limits to how far from reality their imaginations takes them

THat even makes Ryans channel suspicious cause Konstantin shared his life and living, the situation and a lot of the bad and ugly, but also all the american double morale when it came to sanctions and bans and retreats of american companies who then reappeared through a back door like Johne Deere and others. Our agriculture suppliers were so stupid to retreat as the americans had announced it just to fool the western allies cause months laters they were back fully and now conquering our market shares in russia we had lost to John Deere. Not a big deal if we had not laid off workers first and now need to hire those back and push Johne Deere back . We will simply underbit each of their offers by 5% and John Deere will be screwed soon. Bad move, but within a year John Deere will have learned a lesson for sure.
The M1 series of tanks does have a problem on ice. I've literally rode a 68 ton toboggan while training in Germany. In war, the plan for countering this problem was to reverse every fifth or so center guide. These have teeth that normally keep the roadwheels aligned to the track. Reversing them serves as ice cleats but would destroy any hard surface as well as wear out pin. Also, the M1 track pads are mono-directional, they are not angled to the track and the pads are not removable. You have to replace the entire track block.
I laugh whenever I see anyone Pro-Russia say "They got your Abrams tank. All that tech ain't so good after all". Gamer, that is an M1A1 SA. It is literally an M1A1 HA (DU taken out for Ukraine) with the internals of a SEP minus the CITV (SA was 2008 and features enhanced displays and FCS. Could be from SEP V2, but I'm not certain). The US doesn't even operate any SEP V1's as frontline units anymore, and the SEP V2's are shrinking in number as they're converted to V3's. That Abrams has close to if not the same armor package found in the M1IP from 1984. So, you have a tank design 38 years old, with 40 year old armor and at most 26 year old electronics. Yall didn't get anything new...
That being said tank development has pretty much stopped after the cold war was over in 1990. All that's new are minor improvements to targeting systems. If you think about it it makes sense, why allocate money for a weapon system that was pretty much useless in the war on terror?
@Registered_Simp First, they were presented as a 'game changer'. And there's no real evidence that the latest Abrams are all that much better. You are just coping because five were taken out in two months on the actual battlefield (five that are admitted to), and their performance was so bad they have been withdrawn.
@@mitchyoung93 No real evidence the new ones are substantially better? Better armor, better optics, a CITV allowing for better situational awareness, improved fire control, and compatibility with the latest smart ammo the US is developing. To say the latest isn't much better is just ignorant Ukraine has been losing Abrams at a higher rate than they'd prefer. There are reasons for that, and they have nothing to do with the tank itself. Anyone watching the state of the artillery war will already know that. The tanks are being used as mobile long-range direct fire support in lew of artillery shortages, or as rapid response units to Russian assaults. Westerners only want to hear things that confirms their bias, anything else is just foreign propaganda! We all know how immune western media is to propaganda, they definitely told us the truth about the Iraq war and definitely didn't spread lies on the build up to it /s.
I think you misunderstood the point of pushing / bending of the barrel down. This likely has nothing to do with trying to prop and damage the thing so it looks more destroyed.... (and it would make no sense to show it if it did). This is merely done to point the barrel down. This is very common practice on tank monuments and stuff. Where the "good" or winning tanks have barrels raised / pointing up, and the loosing / bad ones, pointing down.
"Hey guys i think there's a Russian in our team" "Hey, are you Russian?" "Eh no, i'm from England, America!" "What's your president?" "Uh, Michael Jordan!"
The M1A1 tanks we sent to Ukraine also reportedly were rebuilt to remove all the advanced DU chobham armor as well, replacing it with tungsten alloy armor. While still good, its nothing at all like the armor on American M1 tanks.
The export model never had the DU to begin with, afaik neither chobham, nor the german composite use DU. dismantling the entire turret just to swap out the composite armour is a waste so I doubt they'd do that. It would be less toxic to touch after a fire though.
DU is not particularly more effective than Tungsten. It's cheaper and self sharpens, those are the advantages. Tungsten however is harder. The main reason the Russians don't use DU is machining DU is a bitch. They could but they don't bother, they have Tungsten coming out their ears.
@@petitblanc7343 according to a Forbes article by David Axe on February 23rd 2023, the 31 M1A1's being sent to Ukraine were not export models, but surplus US tanks, and GDLS had to take those to the Lima Ohio plant to remove all the DU due to DOE export regulations. Also note that the export version of the M1 tank is actually the M1A2, not the M1A1, so this does make sense that those tanks sent to Ukraine had to get DU removed.
Oh man, my first compy topped out at 1 megabyte. Now a $30 SBC can smoke everything from 1990, heck, a $20 _microcontroller_ can outperform them. When that one guy said (I heard it from Woz) "there is a supercomputer in everyone's pocket", he wasn't kidding.
It's obviously Russian propaganda. But ironically, I think this propaganda video shines a light on how good western tanks are purely because most (if not all) have survivable damage. Western tanks are designed to protect the crew so they can fight another day. Russian tanks are just mobile pressure cookers.
He is a Ruzzian bot, took me 10 seconds to figure that out, whilst him speaking english plus treating those soldiers like assets that belong to him ^^ worst is WillyOams comment section, fully ingulfed in Ruzzian bots.
The fact that he got direct access to the exhibit items while the rest of the crowd is restrained by the fence is already telling loads. He is 100% collaborating with the russians
What do you mean collaborating with the Russians? He is Russian. Anyone with a press ID (which isn't all that hard to obtain) could have direct access to the exhibit items.
Can we take a moment to appreciate that Chieftain was asked a quick question regarding track pads and responded with a 3 1/2 minute video demonstration at a tank museum? That's a high-effort individual.
I will keep this video as a clear example of unfair propaganda. A real reporter does not hide where he comes from and the fact that you spend time "revealing" this secret shows how biased you are and are not able to make an objective analysis. Also, rubber pads are useless in a field with a soft mud surface, and this is exactly the place where they are used. Also, depleted uranium linings would not help a tank, which can be punched into the back of the turret from a machine gun. Not to mention, American models that are intended for domestic use are made using simple RPGs, from the same locations as those used for export.
What I understood from the video: 1) He is not an independent reporter - a great discovery for the 21st century deserves a Nobel prize 2) He speaks with an accent, it’s surprising because he speaks in a language that is not his native language 3) Americans supply outdated crap to Ukraine Man, you clearly work for Putin
_1) He is not an independent reporter - a great discovery for the 21st century deserves a Nobel prize_ It's more than just "not independent", he's a stooge for a government entity. Which is the opposite of a "Real Reporter". "But America does it too!" So two wrongs make a right? _2) He speaks with an accent, it’s surprising because he speaks in a language that is not his native language_ He's trying to come off as "American" super hard by trying to hide his accent, instead of owning his accent. There are plenty of American reporters with an accent. So he's clearly trying to hide his "foreignness" for some reason. _3) Americans supply outdated crap to Ukraine_ That "outdated crap" is still giving Russia a hard time. Like, this "outdated crap" is keeping Russia, with its "super futuristic tech" like the T-14 ARMATA, from taking Kyiv in three days. BTW, I wonder why the T-14 ARMATA hasn't shown up?
@@nickfifteen 1. Not only USA, there are no independent reporters and never have been. 2. Many people who study foreign languages try to get rid of their accent, I didn’t think that this was a crime, well, I think it’s not a problem for a native speaker to recognize this “spy” 3. Again these tales about 3 days, but tanks in modern battle in the field are not very effective, artillery and precision weapons decide. So whoever tries to attack using armored vehicles inevitably loses it. I haven’t heard that armata were somehow widely used in this war.
Given that the most modern T-90 variant still lags behind the pre-SEP M1A2, its pretty easy to see why Russia keeps calling the M1A1 in Ukraine a "modern tank". To them, 30 year old tech is modern.
How? It has better thermals, better frontal armor, and only lags behind when it comes to having full blowout panels protection and reverse speed. The Abrams sent to Ukraine also aren't base M1a1s. They are the M1a1 SA, which is still in active service in the US Army. It is basically an M1a2 Sep minus the CITV. Naturally we don't export the DU armor, so it has a different armor scheme.
@@voidtempering8700 No it doesn't have better thermals, not sure where you got that idea. The sight that was developed (with no proof of widespread implementation) is supposed to bridge the gap to western standard (per Russian claims which tend to be lofty). And sure, while the T-90 has better frontal armor, the M1A1 is better protected from HEAT projectiles than the T-90, which in this war has proven to be much more effective than being able to take frontal shots. Even then, a Bradley seemed to be able to put a T-90 out of the fight with frontal shots just fine, it didn't kill it, but the Bradley was able to fight another day, which shouldn't happen with the T-90s "better frontal armor". Also, you say it lacks in blowout panels and reverse speed as if those haven't proven to be major factors in this war. The crew isn't fighting again if their turret detonates and flies to Mars while they're still inside and they're gonna take a lot more hits if they can't get the fuck out of there fast enough. That makes a tank and it's crew dramatically less survivable. Also, the M1A1 SA is not basically an M1A2 SEP, it's not even at M1A2 standard. It's an up-armored M1A1 with a FLIR sight and better comms equipment.
Real Reporter doesn't hide he is Russian nationality and speaks Russian. Watch his video about remote artic city - Vorkuta. Quite a good content to watch, I have to admit.
Half of this video makes no sense and is very misleading. He *never* pretended to be American. What are you people on about? Has anyone here even bothered to hear him out in a video where he addressed this?
It seems most people in the comments know RR only through this video and no other. I find it absolutely hilarious that people think he is “trying to play an American” even though Konstantin has made it very clear he is Russian.
@@bryceanderson4864 well, you don't like Russians speaking perfect English, so dude tried to portray your version of Russian speaking English. Or is this not to your liking either?
Regarding the rubber track pads on tanks... I work with civilian catapillar tracks of various sizes. If a 10-40 ton digger with no rubber track pads can literally destroy a bitumen road by crossing it, I'd hate to see what a 50-70 ton tank would do with no pads. The Israelis were using old tyres to try stop their road from being damaged by their armoured veichles and even the old tyres didn't last long under that stress. Metal tracks being twisted or turned across a road will gouge the road to shreds. Having dozens of track veichles traverse the same road could turn that road into broken wreckage that would take hours to rip up, then re-lay and cost tremendous amounts of money to replace.
RealReporter is by far the most intriguing Russian youtuber. Although my gut feeling says that he's working for the Kremlin, i have to admit that his videos are very well made and often very interesting. I watch most of his videos in order to get an idea about the Russian perspective, without having to watch toe-curling Russian propaganda. I have also seen his video where he admits to being Russian, so at least he doesn't hide that. So all in all, i find his channel really interesting, but i always keep in the back of my mind that he's most likely an agent of the Kremlin. That is : a very handsome, well-mannered and likeable agent of the Kremlin ...
Friendly reminder: Aside from foreign corespondents, pretty much everyone else who seems like a reporter is likely spouting propaganda. The only question is if it is out of fear, or they are sellouts.
I wouldn't be surprised if Russian intelligence is more than happy to throw everything at the wall, and that includes the smooth 007 analogs as well as the more brazen "flood the channels" type of propaganda.
IDK how much you'll learn about 'Russian perspective' from this guy's videos. His channel is specifically targeted at presenting official Russian perspective to the West in the most 'westernized', soft, cushioned manner possible. Russian perspective as pounded into ordinary Russian citizens' heads by the Russian-speaking official media is quite different. So is Russian perspective of those many Russians who disagree with the official 'Russian perspective'.
The problem with this is the idea that Real Reporter is being "exposed" as a Russian. I've watched a few of his videos over time and never had the impression that he was passing himself off as American. He's pretty obviously a Russian who speaks pretty good American English. He even has his go to American (a Mexican American USMC vet) who he brings on to give the American expat POV.
As a track driver in the past, we never took the track pads off. In fact if you had a few missing track pads, your vehicle is deadlined until the track pads are replaced.
That’s all fine and dandy, but I don’t see how it is pertinent to this video. After all, the guy doesn’t hide that he is Russian in the slightest. Conversely, the fact that he makes an effort to reduce his accent is commendable if anything. Also, I don’t get why Ryan is so fixated on Konstantin not promoting his last name. Last I checked, that was never a requirement. At least for a UA-camr. Heck, I don’t see how his last name is even pertinent. Finally, Konstantin never claimed to be a military expert, let alone an expert on tanks. From the looks of it, Ryan is just looking for something to grab onto, so that he can crap all over it. Talk about bias. Especially the part in the end about “life in Russia not being that bad” and “Ukrainians under Russian Occupation”. The first depends on the person. Some people in Russia enjoy their lives, while others are miserable. Same thing in the U.S., while some Americans are having a good time, others are miserable. Entirely subjective. As for the second one, well duh. It’s a war zone. I doubt that the locals in Iraq, Afghanistan and Vietnam enjoyed the time the Americans occupied them. If they did, there wouldn’t be so many refugees from those countries, just like in Ukraine.
@@RealPolitik-dy4it Oh yeah? Then why would his channel be labeled as "from the USA" if he wasn't trying to conceal that he's russian? Why would he claim to be "unbiased" while being clearly a RT journalist in disguise? Most journalists around the world operate with their real name and don't try to make people believe they're from another country.
alot of the things he says make no sense.. like the hole in the tank.. why need mental gymnastics for a hole in a tank froma battle field.. and about if that reporter is western or not.. he says there is a video where he explains but has to invite someone else to explain same thing
He’s a computer guy so I suppose it makes sense. work in aviation, the current most used models are almost exclusively designs from 40-50 years ago that have been slightly updated. There isn’t the exponential leaps and bounds to be made like we’ve had with computing. He’s partially mechanically ignorant and likely just huffing a wee bit of copium.
Thank you for analyzing this video, I saw it a few days ago and I thought it was kinda odd. This guy jumping around on "paraded" trophies, while everyone else has to stand behind a fence? And nobody is touching him? Also the Interviews with passersby were somewhat strange, don't know why. For the track pads, I read somewhere that the difference between track pads and no track pads is only in very muddy or snowy terrain, and even then it's not really worth bothering to remove them.
Thanks from Berlin Germany for your analysis! Rozhkov is maybe not a Westerner in russia but a russian in the West (or at least grew up in the West to russ. parents). Btw St.Georgs ribbon is much older, it dates back to tsarist army. In 1769 the order of St.George was created. Orange stands for fire, black for gunpowder. I like also Katyas cat doing grammar analysis!
I didn’t see the point of doing the grammar analysis. What does the way Konstantin talks have to do with any of his content? If he were to say that his name was “Curtis McLovin” and he was an American expat from “Greenville, Mississippi”, then I could see it being useful to call him out. But he never hid the fact that he is a Russian from Yekaterinburg. Or what do you expect him to start every video with it? In fact, I would venture to guess that nobody cares about him per se. The content is what matters.
That is the excuse... that "depleted uranium" won't help and i can't wait till u wonderweapon believers see it irl. But they are scared of bad image. I can't believe that german ww2 propaganda is the same as is now in the west. Just go and find the articles. And i am not saying rus isn't but not so hypocritical and fake as is western. Especially usa, and that is because usa history doesn't exist and is as old as my house in eu.

A few takeaways from the video:
Konstantin Rozhkov and the real reporter channel is almost certainly a form of Russian propaganda, but it is a very soft form of propaganda.

Yep. It's similar to how accounts with "truth" in their name are inevitably conspiracy theorists who believe & spread all kinds of nonsense.
UA-cam turned off monetization for all Russian viewers and creators. Thus, no ads in videos made by russian contents creators is a norm.

Então vcs estão mandando lixo pra Ukr, pra cobrar depois.
You guys all say you don't care, so why are you so agitated about it?
@@mitchyoung93 No real evidence the new ones are substantially better? Better armor, better optics, a CITV allowing for better situational awareness, improved fire control, and compatibility with the latest smart ammo the US is developing. To say the latest isn't much better is just ignorant
Ukraine has been losing Abrams at a higher rate than they'd prefer. There are reasons for that, and they have nothing to do with the tank itself. Anyone watching the state of the artillery war will already know that. The tanks are being used as mobile long-range direct fire support in lew of artillery shortages, or as rapid response units to Russian assaults.
What I understood from the video:
1) He is not an independent reporter - a great discovery for the 21st century deserves a Nobel prize
2) He speaks with an accent, it’s surprising because he speaks in a language that is not his native language
3) Americans supply outdated crap to Ukraine
Man, you clearly work for Putin
_1) He is not an independent reporter - a great discovery for the 21st century deserves a Nobel prize_
It's more than just "not independent", he's a stooge for a government entity. Which is the opposite of a "Real Reporter". "But America does it too!" So two wrongs make a right?
_2) He speaks with an accent, it’s surprising because he speaks in a language that is not his native language_
He's trying to come off as "American" super hard by trying to hide his accent, instead of owning his accent. There are plenty of American reporters with an accent. So he's clearly trying to hide his "foreignness" for some reason.
_3) Americans supply outdated crap to Ukraine_
That "outdated crap" is still giving Russia a hard time.
2. Many people who study foreign languages try to get rid of their accent, I didn’t think that this was a crime, well, I think it’s not a problem for a native speaker to recognize this “spy”
3. Again these tales about 3 days, but tanks in modern battle in the field are not very effective, artillery and precision weapons decide. So whoever tries to attack using armored vehicles inevitably loses it. I haven’t heard that armata were somehow widely used in this war.
@@nickfifteensame reason the abrams didn't show up for majority of the war
@@hansrama3485 Cause they didn't have them until after the initial invasion? Also, they have shown up. The T14 has not.
Given that the most modern T-90 variant still lags behind the pre-SEP M1A2, its pretty easy to see why Russia keeps calling the M1A1 in Ukraine a "modern tank". To them, 30 year old tech is modern.
Remember when they first managed to get a Bradley in 2023... They were quite amazed by the tech. It was a Bradley built in the 80's.
"Modern"
Like the indoor plumbing that 22% of Russian houses don't have
in a russia modern means post soviet era seriously

He's definitely propaganda, very good propaganda and very watchable. His first few videos seemed quite balanced but they shifted
Most of Russian "perspective" is just Kremlin mind tricks and lies.
Why is Peter Griffin suddenly interested in war?
As a track driver in the past, we never took the track pads off. In fact if you had a few missing track pads, your vehicle is deadlined until the track pads are replaced.
So, this is what a propagandist critiquing another propagandist is like. Gotta leave it to the professional.
He touched the vehicles. Has Russia let any other journalists that close?
@markmcdonnell3556 Yes.

But why did it explain it not an expert in linguistics but a woman from a propagandist channel?
@@darkfox-wr9bui cant tell if this guy is trolling or not
That’s all fine and dandy, but I don’t see how it is pertinent to this video.

The comparison of tanks as computers is so wrong - the military equipment doesn’t age the same way.
I agree, computers, especially since the 90s, have been one of the fastest advancing technologies.
alot of the things he says make no sense.. like the hole in the tank.. why need mental gymnastics for a hole in a tank froma battle field.. and about if that reporter is western or not.. he says there is a video where he explains but has to invite someone else to explain same thing
