This was an absolutely fantastic tutorial. I'm so glad you touched the aim relative section, I've left it at default but now you've explained it I'll definitely being having a play with that, I like my horizontal quicker but the vertical slower. Thank you so much 👍.
You saved my life with the tip on FOV. Like a manic pill for the insane recoil. Thanks for the vid. I never had to delve too deeply into settings, but this game is something special lmao.
Coefficient: 0 Aim Acceleration: 0 Vertical Aim Ratio: 100 You will have to increase your sensitivity to make it feel right, but this will give you linear aiming like CoD.
For people struggling with fov. The games uses a vertical fov so it's not like most games for a reference a 59 in bf2042 would be a 90 horizontal fov in most other games.

Great video and I appreciate your input and time into making this video but the ping, being practice targets for keyboard and mouse players, all the bugs, the stutter, the hovercraft being super godlike lol. The game is fundamentally broken right now. This in NOT battlefield game. There are no tips video that's going to really improve things unfortunately 😕.
I turned cross-play off and now I get full lobbies of just ps5 players. It's amazing. Nobody on console wants to play vs pc in battlefield, I don't know what they were thinking making this game cross play
Is there anyway to get a dynamic aim response curve in battlefield 2042? I have been playing dynamic as long as I can remember and it's unique pattern is something I have gotten use to.
Not yet, in terms of simply selecting it as a setting. The best you can do is go through the key components I’ve listed and tweak them to replicate the aim you’re used to as much as you can. It’s been heavily requested so we can hope it will be added at some point.

@@stinky_pole the first one does have a suppressor available where as the pkp doesn’t at all but when you unlock standard rounds on the pkp the rate of fire increases from 800rpm to 850rpm and it has a lot less recoil definitely try it out and see what you think but both LMGs are strong now they sort of fixed the bullet spread

Really wish they tried a little harder on the ps4 and Xbox 1. The amount of people not on next gen still is probably larger than the amount in next gen, yet the game is barely functional. Feels like a game from 2014
It’s more like there are 2 problems. People not being able to aim due to lack of ability or settings issues. People not being able to hit the target due to game issues such as bugs and poor performance. You can actively improve the first one. Hence my improvements so far. You can’t improve the second one.
Hey guys. I played most of my life FPS games on PC ( so mouse and keyboard ) im 40y old :D and now coz my PC is bit on the low end i bought BF 2042 on PS4. And ofc coz im pure NOOB on controller i have real aiming problem. Movement is not an issue, but when i see a target and start shootin, my aim goes all over the place, and result is usually me beein dead. I tried so many settings and stuff and i think i found my sensitivity, so in this case all good. So my question is, will VERTICAL AIM RATIO help controllin my aim and recoil ( it goes rly UP and im strugglin to keep it in line/straight ). I know i have to build up my muscle memory and all, but will this help if i have it on 50 like you? or should i lower this more. And i have coefficient on 133, should i lower this aswell. Alos have trigger deadzones on 0 also left and right stick i put the lowest, should i up a bit this ? Im sorry if i ask a noob questions, but all this is quite new to me ( controller wise ). THANK YOU ALL for ANY HELP in ADVANCE, cheers peeps
Like the way you actually explain things. Think I need to really dedicate some time to sorting my settings. Tried to use my BfV ones but they just feel way off in this game.
Just vague tracking of my results from round to round. Made easier when you have all your stuff recorded. No official in game stats yet. Hopefully will be added. Also fingers crossed Battlefield Tracker will be able to give us stats for this game at some point.
Yes I do…. If you feel I explained it poorly as I was doing it without a script then I can attempt to do better next time. Perhaps I wasn’t clear about it being linked to how much you push the stick. Being respectful costs nothing though.

Whatever happened to just being able to play a game without needing to mess around with a million settings just so you can aim .

You won't get 100% reliable aim until the game is fixed up. Without doubt.

When you reach level 32 the Pikachu (PKP) LMG absolutely shreds
If you love the LMG guns then definitely use it

You can turn of cross play in your Xbox settings so you'll only play with Xbox players atleast until they can figure out the aim assist.
