CGC 10 Pristine, is not the same as PSA 10. Different grade. I don’t know why people constantly confuse grades.
cgc 10 pristine is more than a psa 10 in value usually right?

You mentioned the CGC pristine 10s for the VG pikas are not harder to get than PSA 10s and the lower pop is strictly due to more cards being submitted to PSA. I’d like to present the Pristine Rates vs the Gem rates for this particular card. CGC pristine 10s are objectively 5 times harder to get than PSA 10s for this card.
CGC pristine 10s are 233/2266 = 10.3%
PSA 10s are 21824/41796 = 52%

Even more important than that is the FAKE pop. 99.9% of the fake slabs of this card are in PSA slabs.
I have noticed all the SwSH heavy hitter alt arts that have gone up in March have leveled off and in some cases gon down a little bit. The secondary cards have risen in April like crazy and are now slowing down and a third wave like Crown Zenith is starting to explode.
Trying to predict the card market is like trying to predict the path of a tornado 🌪. Yeah, you might have a general idea of the direction it's heading but it can change course at a moment's notice. I think the sooner people learn to just buy the cards they like instead of viewing the ones that are currently "hot" as a future retirement fund, the better off the community will be as a whole 🤙
I only use sgc they are close to overtaking beckett in number of tcg cards graded monthly. That shits growing crazy quick niw with the psa parent company money
As someone who has graded hundreds of cards between both PSA & CGC, I can most definitely confirm that a CGC 10 pristine grade is more difficult to attain than a PSA 10 grade, without a doubt
Agreed! PSA 10 rate across the board is about 40% on average, Pristine 10 from CGC about 5% on average.

I sold my moonbreon today. I really want a Karen’s umbreon but the choices are pay a lot for a graded ten or get a raw card that’s beat up and have no chance of grading high wish I could pull it from a pack
The CGC Pristine 10 is 10% of the pop report, the PSA 10 is 50%... so yes it is much easier to get a PSA 10. I know you don't like CGC but c'mon man.
If you take all of the 10s CGG has given out, it’s actually a higher percentage total than PSA 10s…

I feel like sometimes you’re spot on and sometimes you don’t consider market trends or mention atleast. Eg alts are down but is it because people are done with them or does the market suggest people are moving to purchase sealed so cards are dumped for now. Same thing happens every time a new set comes out where the set before it gets dumped for a few weeks but it doesn’t dictate overall cost. But then again who the hell am I. Btw I do love you videos I watch all of them and your work is great.
Pristine just hits harder than the PSA 10s these days. Harder to get across the board.
