- Fun and easy diy macrame parrot wall hanging. This is a great beginner’s project as you only need to use 3 different knots…mostly just the vertical double half hitch knot though 😄

1 - 6 inch (15cm) branch or dowel
11 - 36 inch (91cm) strands of 3.35mm single strand cotton rope Single Strand Cotton - Ropeshop.ca
- measuring tape

Yarn in the colours: Chunky Monkey
- orange - burgundy - white
- red-orange - grey
- off white - blue
- black - dark blue
- green - dark brown
- soft yellow - light brown
*Each square on grid pattern represents a vertical double half hitch knot in the corresponding colour
*I don’t give specific measurements for the yarn used for your vertical double half hitch knots as it can vary depending on materials used and artist tension. Please ensure you have 1 ball of yarn per colour (you will have lots leftover)
