- We spend two days in the GORGEOUS town of Estes Park, CO and visiting movie filming locations at The Stanley Hotel! Horror movie buffs will recognize the historic hotel from Stephen King's TV series The Shining, and comedy fans will remember Jim Carrey hanging out here in the 90s movie classic Dumb & Dumber!
The following day, we went back to Rocky Mountain National Park to earn Junior Ranger badges for the kids and we ended up seeing a TON more wildlife, including a coyote & elk! Then we had a HUGE elk surprise back at our campground.
The weather was perfect & it was one of our favorite stays last summer! Don't miss it!

*Note: we discovered an unfortunate downside to editing videos that we shot a year ago. Our vlogging camera somehow got switched from 1080p to 780 and we never realized it. Our apologies for the downgrade in quality! Thankfully we got some camera upgrades later in 2022 as well.

Your guided talk on your hikes are the best we’ve watched, very thorough.. we really were able to see what we’ll be able to do. Also loved the stop at Stanley hotel ! The kids are cute, but I guess now two years older. You’re giving them an amazing experience!

Yes, we travel full time & shoot hours of footage each week. At first we we didn’t even have time to edit anything, but now I try to get a video out weekly. Even that’s sometimes difficult with touring, homeschool, primary jobs, etc. We do the best we can! Thank you for watching!
