Very good Video. I'll be watching it over & over. Thanks Joseph. Jim

Again, explaining something that is complicated in an understandable and approachable way! That is something that is difficult to do. If I tried to explain what the Equation Editor is, I am sure I would have gone overboard with it... It is possible that I would have ended up talking about integrals.
And a Venn diagram in the end!!! Oh, man... You're spoiling us guys!!!

Part libraries pretty much address all of the issues i had in the past with configurations. My old common parts have dozens of configurations, like 2x4's with one configuration for every length used in a structure.
Minor nit: three lines is a class *5* cap screw, six lines is for class 8.

agree --- if you can use python scripting to drive changes to the equasion editor, and to spawn additional configurations you kind of hit the sweet spot for "standard parts". I've been unable to get the python to drive and establish the library parts, but that would be maximum excellence, for me.

    Hi, Awesome video!
In this video, you mentioned that you smooth out the end of the thread.
Is there a video on how to do this?

Thank you, certainly. This video at about 4:11 shows the method I used on ending the threads.

Nice video! Can I add properties to part data according with changes? For instance can I make a variable screw with "L" parameter , to change its length, and add to the part data the length of the screw? thank you.

Unfortunately we don't have a way to directly link part parameters with variable values. That's a cool idea though
