From my experience these braids are my favorite! They never get tangled because before I go to bed I put some leave in conditioner and run my finger through it and put it in a braid . I actually have them in right now and I can run my fingers through easily , I feel like the problem with her braids is she has more curls than braids and the person who did your hair maybe should’ve used thin curls but that’s my opinion I have very thin curls so if you guys want these make sure you keep your hair defanged and get more braids then curls 😌
Brie too many curls & synthetic hair was the issue, not the detangling because like I said, I detangled my hair everyday. But This was my first time with the style, You live & you learn. I know for next time. Thanks for the tips!
Oo I got them rn I’m gonna try this lol I got fussed at by my sister for getting them because apparently they are hard to manage and don’t last lol. My braids were like 190☠️
the one main problem with your braids is that you seem to have more curls than braids in you're hair and plus the brand of the curling hair you used should be considered too..... because some curly hair quickly gets matted than others
I was thinking that, too many curls. I think it would definitely be easier with less curls, mostly in places where you can see them, almost like accessories
Great advice.I’m a hairstylist and the first thing is there is too much loose hair out. only a little bit of loose hair should be added to the braids and it’s not necessary to add it to every braid, because then the style will be hard to maintain because it will mat and tangle. Those are bohemian goddess braids. Goddess braids are more manageable because the loose hair is only at the end. And using freetress water wave hair works pretty good
I did them a couple of months ago and added the hair in between a braid and to the ends, noticed that the ends weren't getting tangled as much but the middle parts were just unbearable
Definitely too much hair. I’m about to try this style next week and per another video I watched, it’s best to use one thin strand towards the end of the braids and I’m thinking of using the hair on every other braid.
hi. what kind of human hair would u recommend? i want to be able to get the curly pieces wet & the curls still look good! i know it will definitely be more thank the synthetic hair just not sure what type.
I cut out my curls and bought new curls and crocheted a few in myself! very easy. I would suggest just getting regular braids and putting them in yourself. once they get matted you can take it out and have a regular braid style!
I would suggest using human hair as opposed to synthetic for the leave out curls. Also using product (conditioner @ night and foam in morning) braiding into 4 sections is highly recommended. I love mine.
@@cicislife1147 definitely cuz I've got this hairstyle and the braider did like make 15 curls and I didn't experince any tangling I just made sure I moused and sprayed a little water and I am good hope this helped 🥰💓
I'm no professional but i've loved braiding and experimenting with different hair styles for the 5 years (im 18 and i started braiding my hair at 13). I did bohemian goddess braids and i experimented using normal Xpression extensions. I did a normal box braid 3/4 of the length, once the whole head was braided, I did two massive braids, dipped the ends in boiling water to get nice curls. With the same straight extension pack, I braided small sections, put them in boiling water, left them to dry for an hour and crocheted them into my box braids. It worked a treat and didn't get all matted (i feel like the pre- curled hair is coarser or less smooth than the straight braiding hair so they matte quicker). It looked beautiful, lasted over 2 months and was super low maintenance considering the curly ends etc.
I did this with synthetic hair on my locs. Silk drops for maintenance made a WORLD of difference. Also, you can use fabric softener and water to detangle with your fingers. This style will last you just have to know what to use. I only had to touch up with the drops every 5-7 days along with keeping my scalp nourished.
Glad u did this video cause my daughter wanted them and the hairdresser did not do what she wanted she gave her regular braids my daughter was so upset when she came home and I told her she was lucky cause synthetic hair will matte. I ended up putting flex rods and dipping the hair in hot water and she had different size loose curls which likes. Thank you I just showed her the video
Ok for future reference: if you dont wanna spend human hair money, use LESS synthetic curl pieces!! Basically your stylist just made the curls to close and wayyy to abundant! You gotta use the hair sparingly so it cant get stuck together. It will still get like that a little but it wont matte together like that basically the curls will just get a little frizzy

Girl, mine lasted for no more than a month. I ended up cutting ALL of the crochet hair out, and still have the box braids. I’ve never felt so much better when I finally cut them off
I just got this hair style 2 days ago and I got it done at the shop at first I was going get some cheap curly hair but the stylist told me the best hair for this style is human hair in which I had to get its was $23 dollars a pack for the human hair (you can get it wet) and if you want a full look you’ll have to get 2 packs .
You can get a mixed blend that will work as well. I used Que Milky Way Water Bulk hair. It's a human/synthetic blend. Just as everyone else said. It's all about the hair in addition to how much curls you add.
Exactly! I tried this style about 3 times before i figured out you have to use human hair. I bought two affordable curly/wavy bundles from Amazon and for the curly hair part and haven't have no issues!
I see a lot of ppl say use human hair. And you can but if you are on a budget... Freetress is a good brand to use. Also wrap your hair up at night. Friction from rubbing can Matt it like that. When driving bring your hair to the front also. Use less curly hair and use a moose, conditioner or a detangle spray if it starts to tangle a little. I never have a problem when I add this hair to my real locs. Sometimes I want a boho look and do this to it.
I used freetress hair.. I moussed...everyday, detangling spray, wrapped it up every night. This just wasn’t a good style for me but I plan to try it again with less curls. I feel like there were way too many curls which was why it matted
I just got them last night and I was already on my way to this result you're having. So when I got back from the salon, I noticed that I had more curls than I had hoped for. Everything jaming together. So I got my sister to help out. She had to select all the flyouts, wet them added hair wax and make them shorter than the length of the braids. Now I didn't mind the length of the individual flyouts. She just trimmed them according to how we felt it would be good and if the fly-out had a rough end which apparently almost all of them did which was causing the entire braids to come together. As soon as she was done the hair felt and looked better. I went to bed without a bonnet cap and it still looked good the next morning. I think constant attention is required. Sorry 💔 about your experience. You should try it again. It's a beautiful style
I’m so happy your sister was able to help you out because my experience was definitely miserable. However I did love the style in the beginning. It’s a beautiful hairstyle
This video is exactly what I’m going thru right now with this style lmao I have it as a crotchet . You’re 1000% correct when you say you need patience , mouse and time for this style & it’s not get up and go friendly. Thanks for this video ❤️💕
My hair stylist recommended this for my next appointment, when I got my butterfly locs. I saw it and already knew it would be too much up keep and once I get my hair done in a protective style it's on the go. I didn't pay all that money and sat down all those hours to still have to do all this hair maintenance.
hi. what kind of human hair would u recommend? i want to be able to get the curly pieces wet & the curls still look good! i know it will definitely be more thank the synthetic hair just not sure what type.
I get synthetic crochet curly or wavy hair all the time. In addition to tying up at night and using product, you can go through with very small scissors and cut out the fuzzy parts. It will keep your hair looking fresh for longer, but it is time consuming. Not necessarily a get up and go style, but I love it.
What’s crazy is I thought it was just me because I did them myself and used the braiding hair that I curled myself. It’s nice to know I wasn’t tripping.
When it comes to the synthetic and kanekalon textured hair, try adding a detangling product or some conditioner along with some oil. It should separate the tangles of those synthetic fibers and make it easier for the long run
I was nervous for the same reason. I wanted to learn the hard way. I have this style going on two weeks. I have not had a single problem. Running my hair through it, put it up in a style, no tangling, only mousse. My stylist has clutch bundles so I just got really lucky THANKFULLY because someone would have heard from me. I’m sorry you had this experience with the hair style, hopefully you’ll try again with a different quality of hair because the style is stunning on you!
I think it still looks good under the circumstances,,but usually when ppl get that length, its going to tangle, braids rub up against each other especially when you lay dwn,you can't really wrap it or tie down
I currently have these braids and I honestly think they looked even better the older the got. Also the hair you use makes a difference. This is a lot of loose hair left out. I love mine and I highly recommend
I just took mine out and loved them. I didn’t have any issues with that. I wore my big bonnet at night. I used mousse and oil sheen. Mine were nice and thick too. She also used synthetic hair, the curly hair didn’t start to shed until the day before I took them down.
Next time use Human curly hair. It does not tangle period. When you use synthetic curly hair, or course it’s going to tangle! Use human curly hair ladies for the goddess curly and kenekolan braiding hair for your braids. Simple fix.
Kasuba Chibuye I got mine done on Wednesday n u just maintain it using water n hair mouse I ain’t wasting money on braiding hair then curly bundles on top of that paying to get it done my hair ain’t napped up
Swear I was just about to put some in my head💯 so glad I saw this video because you are absolutely right... the style on other ppl be 🥰🥰. We don’t think about the maintenance🤷🏽♀️ thank you for keeping it 💯💯💯💯💯🙏🏽
Hmm...I had mine with synthetic hair that lasted over 2 mos. They still looked good. The only mousse was when she installed them. I put them in a loose bun and satin bonnet every night. I only took them out because of the roots growth. They definitely need to be taken care of, like any other style
i am about to get this style do i just put curl activator in my hair in the morning and run through the curls with my fingers then use mouse ?? also do you have any brand recommendations
I definitely needed to hear this before I got my teen daughter head like this cuz she been begging for them!! So I’m definitely using human hair for the curly part!! Thank Kee💋💋
It's true, it gets really messy after a few days. I got some off brand fake ass curls for the curly part and it looked good on the first few days. But after a while it was clumping, coming apart, looking dirty af. My stylist recommend "WaterWave" curls. I haven't tried them yet but if I do I'll let y'all know. But once the curls get really bad, just take a sossor and cut them off. And then boom. Perfect amazing box braids. It's like two hairstyles at once. And you won't have to go through the trouble of taking them all out. I might get them again but in red this time. But if you do get bohemian, wrap them up and don't let them get wet. Also, don't brush it if you got some really bad curls. Get the WaterWave curled. I heard they're better! Hope this helped. ❤️🙂
I like this hairstyle but I do the crochet version because it takes less time and it’s easier & quicker to redo when it gets old.. I only put the curly hair on the top and not throughout. It lasts way longer. Whenever the curly hair gets matted, I take it out and replace it. It takes all of 15 minutes because it’s crochet. I’m 45 and I’ve been doing crochet since the 90s and know how to make it look right so it doesn’t bother me. I understand the frustration but you look cute with this style! ☺️❤️
Thank you for this advice. I currently have these braids in myself and having the same issue with it being tangled. I’ve had to cut the ends on some of them as they have become knots. It’s a shame because they are such a nice style but I agree so much maintenance, putting moose in them and Gel just so they detangle is a nightmare. I also work out a lot so when I tie my hair up with a hairband the curls tangle up. I will definitely use some of the comments advice next time and use human hair Curls and see if it makes any difference. This is my favourite braiding hairstyle though so I’ll definitely do it again.
I totally understand it can for sure be a nightmare but I too love this style it’s so pretty. Lmk how the human hair works for you if you try it and what kind you get.
If you properly maintain your hair and use human hair as the leave out you won't have this problem. I didn't this my second time getting them. Plus make sure you spray and braid your hair into 3/4 big braids before bed and use the proper cap for bed.
I'm about to get them but I'm going to use human curly hair for this reason thank you for this video 🥰 sorry you are going through this its exactly how I felt when I got my faux locs so frustrating
THIS. Cause synthetic hair WILL tangle up with time. And for someone like me who has no time to take down my braids every 2 or 3 weeks I knew from the start that goddess braids are not for me. Beautiful and all but definitely not the hairstyle for busy people who don't have time to be changing their hair.
Lol thats why I always do crochet hair for stuff like this... The curly hair is always my go to but it always gets old the fastest especially because I don't wrap my hair ever 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Your so gorgeous btw
I think you should give it a try again with human hair or bundles it lasted longer for me. The first time I got it I was in the same crisis as you but than my stylist suggested human hair. And I loved it. Best of luck ❤️
Np I understand your pain mine was nappy like that in 3 days. I got to the point where I cut the hair off the braid to make them look like just regular box braids. I refused to take them down because I paid so much money for them. I hope you do retry them if so give us a review and update.😊 ima new sub from Chicago 🥰
Awwww sweetheart, I think you would need some sort of maintenance like a leave-in conditioner and mousse to keep it fresh and detangled all through the period you're wearing. Okay off to watch the video on how you refreshed it😍😍😍
This video was posted 3 years ago. I just got these, but didn’t do my research. I’m experiencing the same this. Everything she said is true!!! I’m trying to make mind last since I spent $270 for them, but the struggle is real!!! Never getting these again. Not idea, but I ended up cutting the loose hairs out to preserve the style.
Very real. I didn’t know when I got mine in either. I didn’t even think to just cut the curls out because I was so frustrated I just cut everything out lol
I wish I would have watched this video before I Got my Goddess braids. I now learn the next time to get human hair deep wave instead of this synthetic hair.🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄. $176 down the drain. Thank God I can cut the curly part out.
I’m so happy I saw this video, before I tryed the bohemian box braid with synthetic hair. lol. I’ll use human hair. But today is Sunday there’s no hair supplies open so I just do regular box braids.. thanks for sharing..
Thank you for this video. I was about to install them but I am a low maintenance person so this is clearly not the style for me. You're right whenever I see people with them in their hair looks so luscious but I guess they are really doing a lot to upkeep it.
I literally use gel and hairspray and let it dry then I put it in my hair. Don't have any tangles. And i use crochet hair, can't justify buying weft hair to cut it
I've read use 100% human hair on the curls. I have a mixed daughter with Hella tight curly hair and I wanted to do goddess box braids on her. I've been watching tutorials on them for natural and added hair. Trying to learn where to take the ringlet out of the braid, since it's not being added hair, it will be her natural hair. There's not many videos for this, but I'm learning from many black women about the do's and don't for textured hair and braiding, so hopefully I can get this right!! I appreciate your video!
@@cicislife1147 you sound so damn mad literally all she was doing is stating that her daughter is mixed obviously because the comment is coming from a non black woman watching a video about braids so no kidding she’s gonna say that
Thank you so much for this! I just saw someone with this style and it is sooooo pretty but I never thought about the free hair and taking care of it. Thanks so much for telling the real side
Since everybody gave you advice already I just want to say how pretty you are lol and also if you do get them next time adding a little of your favorite oil on them every night before bed helps too!
I don’t know why I didn’t believe her, but y’all she’s right. This hairstyle is like a week lasting fr. Or just for the night. After like a day it gets all tangled.
Thank you. I'll keep this in mind. I found a lady who said she could do this for me. I was very excited...until I watched your video. I don't have time to maintain this hairstyle. I think I'll go with box braids.
You gotta separate them, mouse em, spray with oil, twist it, and put your bonnet on as t least every other day. No rubber band use the elastic round bands.
This style is so gorgeous. I am currently looking up videos on the style and after seeing yours I just made a call to the hair stylist and told her I will just stick with my usual boxed braids. Because like others when I first saw the hairstyle I wondered if it would start looking tacky after a period of time🤔.....I definitely don't have any patience when it comes to knotted hair. I will eventually get the style and just use the human hair everyone is recommending but right now I just don't have the time lol.
I got mine done with ombre black to blonde, they look nice but the spider web started in a few days. I used silicone mix dip then shine jam gel on curly hairs only. Helping it look better from day to day with 4 sections braids n scarf at bedtime, but I want regular box braids again too, It's less maintenance and weight on head. I get headaches with goddess bohemian box braids. You are right they look good at first, they need to make better quality curly hair in stores.
Me watching this right after getting my godness braids 👁👄👁
Lol I hope you have a better experience than I did
I’m just about to go get them💀

What curly hair did you use?
Hey what kind of hair did you use for your curls Brie?
What curls did you use ?
the one main problem with your braids is that you seem to have more curls than braids in you're hair and plus the brand of the curling hair you used should be considered too..... because some curly hair quickly gets matted than others
I’ll never get this style again but these are things I wish I knew before getting them. I just grabbed the hair the stylist told me to get.
So what type of curls do u recommend
I was thinking that, too many curls. I think it would definitely be easier with less curls, mostly in places where you can see them, almost like accessories
Marilyn Talks dont get to many curls ... the lady that did her hair add more curls than braids .. dont add curl to every braid
Exactly my thought...
Great advice.I’m a hairstylist and the first thing is there is too much loose hair out. only a little bit of loose hair should be added to the braids and it’s not necessary to add it to every braid, because then the style will be hard to maintain because it will mat and tangle. Those are bohemian goddess braids. Thank you!

I was thinking the samething
Definitely too much hair. I’m about to try this style next week and per another video I watched, it’s best to use one thin strand towards the end of the braids and I’m thinking of using the hair on every other braid.
The whole point of braids is to not have the hassle of maintenance
Right
Maintenance wasn't the case for me because I had hip length hair as a child. I was always thought braids was beautiful 😍
Next time use human curly hair and not the synthetic. That's why it's napping up like that. TRUST me. I know. I've been there 🙄😩
Thank you. I’ll try it next time

Hi! How many bundles of human hair would you need for one head of Goddess Box braids?
hi. what kind of human hair would u recommend? i want to be able to get the curly pieces wet & the curls still look good! i know it will definitely be more thank the synthetic hair just not sure what type.
@@shalaiavaughn8167 freetresh Bohemian human hair is good
@@shayyrenee9283 one bundle should be fine because its just to feed into the braids and give it the goddess look
@@_prosper381 crazy i cant find this online? just the synthetic version :(
I get synthetic crochet curly or wavy hair all the time. In addition to tying up at night and using product, you can go through with very small scissors and cut out the fuzzy parts. It will keep your hair looking fresh for longer, but it is time consuming. Not necessarily a get up and go style, but I love it.
Ur voice is so satisfying😭❤️‼️
Thank you 😊
Yoooo she got meeeee rolling🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What’s crazy is I thought it was just me because I did them myself and used the braiding hair that I curled myself. It’s nice to know I wasn’t tripping.
No you weren’t. It’s sad cause I thought it was so cute but I don’t think I’ll ever get it again lol
I loved mine! I found adding gel to the loose hair helped with the tangles!
When it comes to the synthetic and kanekalon textured hair, try adding a detangling product or some conditioner along with some oil. It should separate the tangles of those synthetic fibers and make it easier for the long run
Exactly. She needs to use some conditioner or gel to maintain those curly sythetic hairs.
I think it still looks good under the circumstances,,but usually when ppl get that length, its going to tangle, braids rub up against each other especially when you lay dwn,you can't really wrap it or tie down
I’ve always wonder how the curly hair looks after a while and how to maintain it
Thank you girl for telling the truth ! I will just get my regular box braids because I was wondering how them curly was going to last!
I currently have these braids and I honestly think they looked even better the older the got. Also the hair you use makes a difference. This is a lot of loose hair left out. I love mine and I highly recommend
Definitely was too much hair left out and it was synthetic so yeah. Never again lol
Simple fix.
do you mind recommending a brand?
How many inches human curly
But isn’t it expensive
@@Blessingstevens06 would you rather have napped up hair because you bought the wrong thing?
Kasuba Chibuye I got mine done on Wednesday n u just maintain it using water n hair mouse I ain’t wasting money on braiding hair then curly bundles on top of that paying to get it done my hair ain’t napped up
I am looking to do this style for my summer vacation, I will most definitely be using HUMAN CURLY HAIR! Thanks for the heads up.
Idk but this still looks nice to me...it adds to the distressed look and looks more natural.
Finally someone has spoke up. Thanks
Swear I was just about to put some in my head💯 so glad I saw this video because you are absolutely right... the style on other ppl be 🥰🥰. We don’t think about the maintenance🤷🏽♀️ thank you for keeping it 💯💯💯💯💯🙏🏽
Just get human hair not synthetic hair
Human hair won’t need maintenance like this.
Young Lady, Thank You for a REALISTIC REVIEW, that it is a High Maintenance, Beautiful Hairstyle.
Gurl you just saved me sooooooo much time! Thank you so much!!
Hmm...I had mine with synthetic hair that lasted over 2 mos. They still looked good. The only mousse was when she installed them. I put them in a loose bun and satin bonnet every night. I only took them out because of the roots growth. They definitely need to be taken care of, like any other style
I always tell my clients 2days after getting the style let mousse and Curl Activator b ur best friend keeps the tangles away and less frizzy.
I had mousse and all that. I just had way too many curls. And synthetic hair.
i am about to get this style do i just put curl activator in my hair in the morning and run through the curls with my fingers then use mouse ?? also do you have any brand recommendations
@@allyssaaa1053 yes I'm so sorry for the late reply and care free curl is a great one to use
I suggest using flexi rods when you wrap them up
I definitely needed to hear this before I got my teen daughter head like this cuz she been begging for them!!
It actually looks good messy 🥰 but thank you for letting me know.. I’m scheduled to get them soon, so I’ll see on the hair type itself.
Thank you for the compliment 💕 I can’t do crochet, I just hate the way it looks lol.
Girl this video had me cracking up! 😂 this was so me the first time i got these damn braids
Marie D I was in shambles lol
@@KeviahSymone thanks for this
I was about to get this done tomorrow. Whew child. Thank God i UA-camd this. I would have had a crappy Christmas vacay
Lol. I was cracking up too. I hardly see videos this real about hairstyles. The style is nice but the maintenance of it is another story.
it also depends on what kind of hair you use. the silkyer hair shouldn't have that issue as much
Soooo glad I ran into this video before I got my hair done. Im going on baecation soon and I want that wake up do my edges and go type of thing💯👏🏼
I'm about to get them but I'm going to use human curly hair for this reason thank you for this video 🥰 sorry you are going through this its exactly how I felt when I got my faux locs so frustrating
How was. The human hair
My spirit told me to do some research and thank God I did 😭 God bless you sis x
THIS.
Cause synthetic hair WILL tangle up with time. And for someone like me who has no time to take down my braids every 2 or 3 weeks I knew from the start that goddess braids are not for me. Beautiful and all but definitely not the hairstyle for busy people who don't have time to be changing their hair.
Get your braids done then crochet the curly hair in so when the curly hair tangles you can just cut it out.
that's a good idea
I put mine in 3 hours ago and they’re already acting up!!! I’m going to try applying leave in conditioner to soften the fibre...I’m shook
human hair for the curly parts next time
I just got mine last week and ready to take them out. Man these are so high maintenance. Mine looks just like yours in the video.
Lol thats why I always do crochet hair for stuff like this... The curly hair is always my go to but it always gets old the fastest especially because I don't wrap my hair ever 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Your so gorgeous btw
I’m glad I do my own hair I would’ve been pissed to go home and it tangles.
For you to keep them long you have to treat it as if it’s a curly wig and ever since I Got that I ALWAYS SLAY THEM
Exactly.
I wondered about then napping up like that!! That’s why I decided to check first. Thanks for this
I think human hair and way less curls would make for a better experience. I’m glad I could help
@@KeviahSymone I’ll try that. Thank you☺️
I think you should give it a try again with human hair or bundles it lasted longer for me. The first time I got it I was in the same crisis as you but than my stylist suggested human hair. And I loved it. Best of luck ❤️
Thank you. I think that’s a great idea. I really did love the look of the style so I will re try with human hair, thank you! 💕
I should use human hair for the braids and the curls? Or just human hair for the curls?
Yolanda Hood just for the curls
I think it looks great. You want it to look from natural
I wish I would have watched this video before I Got my Goddess braids. I now learn the next time to get human hair deep wave instead of this synthetic hair.🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄. $176 down the drain. Thank God I can cut the curly part out.
I know I just walked out of the salon and this is the first thing I see🤦🏾♀️
You have to add mouse and gel to the curly hair. Each curl stand. That keeps it all together.
I’m so happy I saw this video, before I tryed the bohemian box braid with synthetic hair. lol. I’ll use human hair. But today is Sunday there’s no hair supplies open so I just do regular box braids.. thanks for sharing..
Thank you. Almost sold myself dreams with this style
And i use crochet hair, can't justify buying weft hair to cut it
What brand of hair do you use for the curly parts?
Your voice is beautiful! If you haven’t considered it, you’d do great in motivational speaking, affirmations, podcasts and maybe even singing!
@@cicislife1147 lmao what's the hostility about?! hair texture is deffo important when it comes to protective styles and their longetivity
You’re welcome. I know everyone’s experience with these is different but mine was horrible. I hear human hair works better for the curls
Use human hair for the curls , them synthetic curls get all matted and nappy and stuff!! And it will stay flat looking.
Yes, I agree!! I got this style and it was cute but high maintenance and a pure mess at times. Great review
Since everybody gave you advice already I just want to say how pretty you are lol and also if you do get them next time adding a little of your favorite oil on them every night before bed helps too!
Thank you 😊
Watched this after i go my boho box braids, I totally agree. I cut the hair out, it as awful. My braid lady recommended human hair to last longer
That’s what I was told to get human hair it’s better.
I only use enough curly hair to get the look no where near the entire pack. I’m so sorry 😕
So one pack of curly hair is all that is needed
I don’t know why I didn’t believe her, but y’all she’s right. This hairstyle is like a week lasting fr. Or just for the night. After like a day it gets all tangled.
Thank you for the transparency! I was about to put these in my hair and now this gave me pause. I don't feel like messing with my hair at all. 🤣
Bless you 😂😂
Thank you. I'll keep this in mind. I found a lady who said she could do this for me. I was very excited...until I watched your video. I don't have time to maintain this hairstyle. I think I'll go with box braids.
I get confused with all the different names too!
You gotta separate them, mouse em, spray with oil, twist it, and put your bonnet on as t least every other day.
No rubber band use the elastic round bands.
Shine jam on the curly hair or use human hair. The shine jam kept mine curly and not tangled.
What color?
Currently regretting my boho box braids 😢
Next try use foam EVERYDAY. & it should keep them from tangling so much and you really gotta run your hands through it.
Amyas Here I did that, everyday, for however long I had them. Didn’t help. I had synthetic hair.. that was the problem.
I absolutely love the honesty of this video.
I appreciate it. I was trying to be as transparent as possible.
