Play career mode and quick fight vs AI on normal and over time u will get used to fighting, as u get better bump the difficulty, I asked the same thing and got the same response I'm giving u rn, and it 100% helped me recognize patterns. Also watch pry or Romero any high level players, u can learn from them just my watching they gameplay
This is what people love about other fighting games, everyone looks and feels unique. Too many generic stances for big fighters in UFC 5. Gotta do more unique animations like gaethje MVP Cruz and dillashaw

@@Pryoxis Add to that cage seated positions and UFC 3's clinch system, we'd have a 9.5. The extra 0.5 will concern the cheesing problems resolution etc.
Honestly ea needs to get booted and cut we need new devs whom actually want to work on this game and are passionate about fighting games and get every detail theres no communication and we need quality of life updates this game feels so bland and dry compared to undisputed the style the movement everything in this game is bland I wish they showed the same love they got for Paige for the rest of the fighters I wish they replicated Nate's style better and people like that
MVP needs signature lunging jabs and straights. His normal jab looks like trash in the new stance and he’s always striking when he darts in anyway. It’s like no matter how close ea comes to hitting the mark they’re just never quite on
Imagine if they actually took the time to do this for every fighter, or at least the really notable ones. Cruz, and now MVP are the only ones that have their own signature base movements. The rest just have maybe a signature attack on top of a broad or generic base movement style
