That’s because this is seths true dream I think he stayed in the past they kept family guy on as a filler while they continued to progress with this series

At the end of the season, the production team read the reviews to figure out what works and what doesn’t. Then they double down on the good stuff next time around. It’s called learning from your mistakes. Family Guy prefers to acknowledge its declining quality without actually putting in the effort to fix it.
I think it's that American Dad stared out being insane and really dark, while Family guy was actually wholesome and light tongue and cheek humor. Stan and the family were way more one note, while Stan was super conservative, Francine basic housewife whose only a little crazy(george clooney episode), Haley basic hippie, and Steve a plain nerd virgin

I have to admit, I was never really an American Dad guy. In fact, I didn’t care for the show at all and Roger’s over-the-top sex jokes used to ruin it for me. It was all about Family Guy for me. After Covid, I started to get sick and tired of hearing only about that on the news 24-7 and started to binge watch this show to escape reality and get away from the Covid nonsense. I instantly fell in love with this show. I must say that this show has aged like fine wine and is possibly one of the best animated sitcoms on TV right now! It has surpassed Family Guy in quality by a lot.

We just gunna ignore the fact that Henderson was shoved out of a CIA plane, and was brutally killed when he hit Francine's car after falling several miles down from the sky?
