Hello, I'm currently working on a swerve drive project and would greatly appreciate your guidance on calculating the steering motor torque. Could you please share any insights or formulas to accurately determine the torque requirements? Your insight would be usefull.
It depends on what level of reliability you want in different terrain. An easy to calculate upper bound is: how much torque is required to rotate the entire rover with one pivot, assuming that wheel gets stuck? Calculating the loads that different soil and terrain place on the wheels is quite difficult, sometimes its best to just build something and try it out :)
Thanks guys for letting me film your test at Lysterfield Lake today. All the best in upcoming competition in USA. ua-cam.com/video/nU31VPzI96E/v-deo.html
It is just proof of concept, the majority of the teams use GPS. If the code is well written it shouldn’t be too hard to add in some other system more specific to the planet it would be deployed on.
one of the best SAR's I ever saw, keep it up guys, all the best, you are going to win
Wow it's so pink
Great work ❤👏🏼👏🏼
Good Pink color , really is a interesting project. I going to share it in LinkedIn.

Lovely!! 👌
Hello sir its was an amazing intrested video can you tell me the software names you have been used
I like this one the best so far very impressed
Very good work on the system for analyzing. Are you using a spectrum analyzer?

The project is amazing, but GPS for a planetary rover?)))))
