*Absolutely love this thing. **Fastly.Cool** and air purifier perfectly this machine We set it up in the low air circulation basement where the dogs hang out (man cave too) and it made a HUGE difference in air quality.*
I had one installed for a few years now in my house. I have a small 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house and I can tell it works. I get zero allergies in the house now. I used to get them all the time. I also cant see floating dust in the air anymore.
The cooking smells are still there though and I can still smell candles. Im not sure if the smells used to be less. Back before I had one installed if anyone in the house were to get sick then everyone would eventually get sick too. Now with the remi halo I have noticed that when my kids get sick from their friends at school or church that everyone else in the house doesnt seem to get sick. Almost like the disease has a hard time flying around or staying on surfaces.
It also helps that we purify our water on the way into the house with UV filtering. Im telling you we have avoided many sicknesses and problems including covid 19 which we never got.
One thing to keep in mind is your not supposed to burn candles with these things. Your contractor should have told you that. They are awesome though and really work
If you’ve never used an air filter these are great. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx_dppjvjF8BYEmPSDTcgCUdRsgWYLXNHN I ended up with three after starting out with one. The noise level depends on the 1-3 settings with how hard you want the machine to work. You can also upgrade the filters and get one better for pet hair and smells which is a must have in my home. I noticed the air seemed lighter and easier to breathe when running the machine for the first time. Works great every time. Highly recommended!
Thanks for watching
Hi, my name is Anant from Thailand, I would like to asking you , which of this proper installation on the suction or on the discharged side. What if there is no room to put it on the discharging side?
Properly installed it is on the supply side (discharge) above the evaporator coil
Does this Halo air purifier work with the heater on at home or does it need the AC to be used with at all times? I don't wanna run AC all year. Thank you.
Just needs the fan to run
it depends on if you are using the regular Reme Halo, or if you are using the Reme Halo-LED. the regular Halo is wired straight to the incoming power to the airhandler via a transformer, and is thus always on if the system itself is receiving power. With the LED version, it requires a air pressure switch to be wired in series to the the transformer and the power to the light. That way it is only on when the air is moving. you *can* still wire a pressure switch in series with the non LED Halo, but it does not require it according to the installation manual.
My Reme halo was just installed 3 months ago and the indicator light keeps going out. I unplugged the power cord and waited a minute, plug it back in. The red light comes back on, but shortly after plugging it back in the light goes off. What could be wrong with this unit being so new? Thank you.
Either the bulb has failed or the ballast (power head with the light) is no longer operational. Many of these air purifiers have been installed incorrectly. Look into warranty from your contractor and RGF as the manufacturer and get proper diagnostics done. In my experience the Reme halo should be installed to operate continuously meaning your system fan should always be operating. The Halo is not switch duty and constant power is recommended, if you bought it you should use it and eat the cost of blower operation in the mean time.
Can this be installed in an apartment ac unit and removed upon leaving the unit
Generally yes, but I would get permission from landlord
Nice ad. How far does the ionized hydrogen peroxide travel from the source generator and what velocity does it need to travel to be effective in a space?
I’m sure you can find out at RGF.com if that very particular information exists
I'm a licensed HVAC contractor and was given one of these for free to try it in my home. Honestly, I can't tell if it works because I can still smell my trash can at times and other household odors. Haven't noticed anything different. I wouldn't sell it because I'm afraid my customers will have the same complaints
We have installed hundreds of these and have never received a single complaint. I love the one in my house. Depending on whether you have the old model or new model, you may need to replace the bulb as it’s no longer effective after a year or two with the old model.
Yeah been in Hvac 6 years. I don’t try to sell these. I’m not sure how accurate the science is. If my customer wants one I’ll sell em one. Usually just lights for coil area. But now everyone is charging 600 for those smh I know uv lights work.
I’m gonna pretend you aren’t complaining about an air purifier not covering up your trash can stink lol. Take your trash out 😂
When installing a Reme- Halo I recommend adding a 5 inch filter, it is a night a day difference.
After installation, how quickly would the consumer be able to tell a difference?
A properly installed Reme Halo starts working day of install
@@fireiceheatingandaircondit4363 thanks. We could tell a difference within a couple of hours. Appears to be a good product. Thanks for your video.
Fairly quick honestly

This is not a review. It’s an overview. People want to know if they can feel or notice a tangible difference after purchasing/installing the reme halo.
I could tell a difference once it was installed in my home
I felt a difference the day after I installed in my house. I got used to it quickly.
I could tell a difference IMMEDIATELY! I have mild asthma and I was able to breathe better upon waking up the next morning! It's been over a month now - and it's just been AMAZING!
Does the Reme Halo Whole Home unit give off the "ozone smell"?
No
Is this safe to use with pet birds/parrots in a home? Birds usually have sensitive respiratory systems.
I am not sure if that has ever been asked specifically about birds. Here is a link to the manufacturers website: www.rgf.com/products/air/reme-halo/
@@fireiceheatingandaircondit4363 Thanks! I called them and they verified it’s safe to use around birds. I am getting the LED version which does not produce ozone. This seems like a safer option for birds.
@@phillymusicman I don't know if you ever ended up moving forward with that Reme LED, but if you're still mulling it over, they are about to release the Reme Halo- zero. It has verified zero ozone production in lab testing environments. :)
@@enasniT thanks! Yes, I wound up going for the LED version. Everything has been fine with our birds and we can tell a difference in our air quality. Good looking out!
Bought two in December 2022. By March one has already failed. Too expensive for that kind of quality.
Should be under warranty
So from the comments this seems like a gimmick
Ha, it works great in my house
