I've come to the reality that people who back Trump are full of hate for us, scared of us moving forward and for those that look like us can't except them selves being black. Gun control most definitely first topic to speak on. Keep doing what y'all do. 🫶🏽😍

when I was younger I was against getting rid of guns because I couldn’t imagine not having them for protection. But when I was in college and living in apartments off 6 flags pkwy. 2 men kicked in the door of my neighbor who lived on the 2nd floor while she and her date were inside and awake. It took them 3 kicks to get the door open. They looked out the peep hole and saw the men dressed in black wearing mask. They ran and jumped out the window and came to my apt. ( they were not injured only a couple of scratches). I knew then that if that were my apt. I would not have considered jumping out the 2nd story apartment window. I would have gotten my 380, and as soon as the door swung open I would have opened fire. It was a terrifying experience for her but we all found humor in it later. We joked about how perplexed the robbers were when they found the unit empty. She didn’t own a gun so it wasn’t an option. It would have been so much more tragic if lives would have been lost in that incident.
With a gun your brain travels a different path for survival. 🙏🏾🙌🏾 Years later, she found out it was her little brother and a friend trying to rob her date 😩
