One aspect about these wonderful films that is often overlooked is the incredible sound effects. Impressive enough at home watching on the small screen, but in a movie theater these non-stop effects are WAY over the top, and they definitely contribute an added dimension to the mayhem. One laughs at the sounds as much as the antics.

Omg that very wine is the reason I was searching for this scene. There was something hilarious, but I think it was a real reaction of Moe I never believed that was in the script. But it kills me.

Where they're putting up that poster and Moe accidentally puts wet glue on Larry's face? You ended that too early. Moe says, "I said I'm sorry so shutup!" and he INTENTIONALLY hits Larry again with the glue brush. TOO CLASSIC to cut.

So funny when Moe constantly gets poles hitting either in his eyes, head, stomach and especially when stuck in his mouth. The sound effects really add so much to the physical humour.
Reminds me of a video where they recreate the gag with a pool cue in a billiards bar.
