- When Jesus issued the Great Commandment-to love the Lord with all your heart, mind, and soul and to love your neighbor as yourself-He wasn’t reducing the Ten Commandments to two. Rather, He was teaching that all of God’s law hangs on those two concerns. Alistair Begg walks us through the role of the law in the believer’s life, explaining that when the Holy Spirit fills our hearts with God’s love, then we’ll follow His rules-not to receive rewards or avoid penalties but because we love Him.

I have family members who condemn me because I go to church on Sunday. They are very deep in the Hebraic Roots Movement. It's very sad to me, because I cannot have any fellowship with them. They say Christians have been corrupted by Constantine, and the Catholic church! I've gone to church on Sunday my whole Christian life! We work on Saturdays! I love Sunday. I look forward to Sunday! I wish you would do a video on the HRM. They are so divisive and many Christians are going back to celebrating the feasts, etc... Rosh Hashana has no benefit to believers! Our faith is in the CROSS, Alone! I'm sharing this beautiful message on FaceBook! ♥

The biblical appointed times of the Lord do have benefits to believers, study them, what they represent, what they point forward to. Christians have lots to learn and benefit from the WHOLE of scripture, not only the new testament.

I sympathize with you because I lack fellowship with my family because they are progressive and don’t believe the Bible and are friends with the world. I also was almost caught up in the HRM as a new believer because I didn’t have a clear foundation of the covenants. God in His grace brought me out from it. The Sabbath is a sign of the old covenant, our sign is the Lord’s Supper. The video that helped me clearly understand the covenants is from the channel ‘Fighting for the Faith.’ It’s a powerful teaching on why we don’t still follow the old covenant and uses Scripture as proof. You might want to check it out. I believe it’s called “Understanding the Biblical Covenants.” Praying for you and your family. 🙏♥️

I agree with you sir on your teachings about the Law the 10 commandments... I do have one question. What about the 4th commandment are we still to keep the Sabbath?
The problem is not the 613 commandments that are contained in the first 5 books of the Bible. The problem is the myriad of rules that were added by the religious leaders. Religion tends to leave a personal relationship with God out of the picture... some things never change!
