Although I knew and perhaps like others have read the 10 Commandments many times, I was richly enlightened in my understanding as to why the 4th Commandment is the (First in its Central state, and that it because although All the Commandments are Very Important, the 4th alone reveals God as - the Creator). Wow! I was wonderfully blessed, praise God. May the Lord help others to gain this same understanding. However, may we even more be lead to Love the LORD with all our heart, mind, soul & strength and serve Him wholeheartedly, by His Holy Spirit’s power.❤ Here what the Lord says in Inspiration - Book entitled: (ST or Signs of the Times) “In the fourth commandment is found the seal of God's law. This only, of all the ten, brings to view the name and the title of the Lawgiver. It declares Him to be the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and thus shows His claim to reverence and worship above all others. Aside from this precept, there is nothing in the Decalogue to show by whose authority the law was given. (ST March 22, 1910, par. 2) The Sabbath enjoined by the fourth commandment was instituted to commemorate the work of creation. Had the seventh day always been kept, there would never have been an (idolater, and atheist, or an infidel). The sacred observance of God's holy day would have directed the minds of men to their Creator, the true and living God. Everything in nature also would have brought Him to their remembrance; and would have borne witness to His power and love. (ST March 22, 1910, par. 3)
Comments continued… The Seal of God - The Sabbath of the fourth commandment is the seal of the living God. It points to God as the Creator, and is the sign of His rightful authority over the beings He has made. Those who obey this law will bear the seal of God, for He has set apart this day as a sign of loyalty between Himself and His people. To Moses on Mount Sinai He said, “Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily My Sabbaths ye shall keep; for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you.” (ST March 22, 1910, par. 4) The Sabbath question is to be the issue in the great final conflict, in which all the world will act a part. Men have honored Satan's principles above the principles that rule in the heavens. They have accepted the spurious sabbath, which Satan has exalted as the sign of his authority. But God has set His seal upon His royal requirement. Each Sabbath institution, both true and false, bears the name of its author, an ineffaceable mark that shows the authority of each. ST March 22, 1910, par. 13 The great decision now to be made by every one is, whether he will receive the mark of the beast and his image, or the seal of the living and true God And now, when we are on the very borders of the eternal world, what can be of so much value to us as to be found loyal and true to the God of heaven? What is there that we should prize above His truth and His law? What is so necessary as a knowledge of “what saith the Scripture?” ST March 22, 1910, par. 14) I believe these statements says it well. Praise God for the Scriptures and Inspiration. To God be the glory.❤ Reklamation Ministries 😊
Now that I've heard the message, the first of the big 10. Very good message. But the emphatic nature of the title brought my mind to the very first in all the Bible (and so I imagined a pro-life message). Both are good and very important.
In his letter to “the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse,” written while he was a prisoner in Rome, Paul makes mention of his joy over their steadfastness in the faith, tidings of which had been brought him by Epaphras, who, the apostle wrote, “declared unto us your love in the Spirit. For this cause,” he continued, “we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness.” AA 471.1
Hi Pastor Skeete, whilst I understand the point that u r making, I am disturbed as someone could honestly run off with the idea that the 4th commandment is the only important one…..even though God Almighty says if we err in one we r guilty of all.
SDA’s know that. but they also believed that the mark of the beast is a mandated Sun day worship law will prohibit people from worshiping on Gods sabbath. They believe that its will be so that law will require that everyone worship on Constantine’s Sunday less they not be able to buy or sell.
There's hardly any reason to elaborate on the other nine commandments because most people believe and accept them, but most people have a problem with the 4th commandment, and that's the reason our Pastors spend so much time reminding them of the only commandment that starts with the word remember.
Yes, He did! One notices that the 10 Commandments can indeed be split into two: the first 4 dealing with our relationship with God and the rest dealing with our relationship with humans. In other words, Jesus was saying the greatest commandment of the 10 are the first four, and the next are the last 6.
Well, before listening to the message, the first commandment was to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth (Gen. 1:28). Most folks really like this one, but there are a few that try to tell you otherwise. Don't believe them. Grab your spouse and get it going y'all. It is the commandment of God Himself.
With all due respect, and in fairness to the Word of God to whom is worthy of all honor and glory, you are mistaken. If we are going to get technical about the bible in that way it is wise to consider what we are saying before we say it lest we mock God. His first spoken commandment to mankind was, Genesis 2:16-17. "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." So overcoming appetite is the first command of God and He still commands it to this day. May we all seek to know the Lord with all that we are in meekness and reverence. 🙏
@@NaC-SALt-4L Thank you for the most honorable reply. And maybe I was a bit irreverent in my comment. Yet I must say mine is truly the first commandment given by God to man. Yet I should be more reverent in my use of scripture. I would describe your verse as the first prohibition, with no intent of minimizing its importance. In the world created fresh from the voice of God, the very nature of mankind was being developed. From what we were to eat, to the authority over the earth, our instinct to procreate, there needed to be an aspect of self control brought into our character. The ability to tell ourselves no when needed, and beyond just in the control of appetite, was an element of great importance. Consider all the later commandments of God, and if we could but tell ourselves no, we would spare ourselves so much anguish. Give thanks now that we have a Savior who has denied self to the point of the cross who is able to justify and sanctify this sad race of folk who have suffered terribly with our inability to deny self.

Backround speaking and music is very disturbing. Thank you for your sermons .God bless and keep you.
Amen❤
There is some kind of audio playing in the background
I heard it too. Kind of weird
Yes it's quite a noise but the Word is powerful
It seems that the radio transmission is slightly distracting. Possible equipment issues.
Service is always mighty from pastor's Service to God.
Excellent presentation
Glad you liked it

We. are living in the end time let us be doers of the commandment of God the creator so that many more of our brothers and sisters when follow when
can find the God we serve.
Sir can you please explain psalm 123

Jesus the Nazarite

Did Jesus not answer that question in Matthew 22: 36-38.

In other words, Jesus was saying the greatest commandment of the 10 are the first four, and the next are the last 6.
But of the 10, the fourth is the only one that gives information about the lawgiver, thus why we should worship Him.

It is important to consider context as well. There were only two people alive then. The need for more people is not present today.
