Besides, the dude is past his prime and old; the UFC is not interested in pushing him, so he probably agreed to be the fall guy, especially since Cowboy retired. Additionally, UFC is registered as sports entertainment and owned by an entertainment company, not to mention that they've merged with WWE recently. It's not illegal for them to fix fights. UFC is classified as sports entertainment for legal reasons, meaning they can't be sued for fixing/scripting fights. This is the reason Mark Hunt lost his lawsuit. As entertainment, they can fix all the fights with no problem.
