Probably because these games are made for better hardware first then downscaled to Switch. And y'all really need to go back and see GT4 again. For all the downgrades, this is a far superior game technically and visually to anything on the PS2 Edit: also, this game seems to look basic regardless of the platform. That said, if you want to see an impressive sim racer on Switch, then Wreckfest is the best on the market
they are lazy, they dont want to port old games such as project cars or assetto corsa, anyway on switch you dont have precise joysticks so it sucks driving anyway

Nintendo doesn't help itself either... In the middle of 2017 (omg Switch is 7 years old now) it launched a controller with digital triggers...
Recently, it has been compared to Ace Combat 7, which was ported to the Switch.
This one I did decided to get because it has 4-Player Split Screen support.
Sigh... the footage from months ago looked better. This game shouldn't have come out in this state, years after Grid on Switch came out
