    I recommend adding an S hook onto the eyelet, in place of the carabiner. That way you can hook the belt loops directly on to it
    Much faster to hook up and hook off when your quads are dead!
    I have a marine style stainless S hook ( one end is closed), on my belt squat lever arm, that I attached to it via a D shackle

    The attachment point should be directly under the lifter (like w dip belt when you’re adding weights)

    that might be the way I go. I have been trying to "chooch" a belt squat together using my cables and whatever I have laying around. this looks to be the perfect solution.

    Did your rubber bumpers come screwed down tight? Mine wasn't, and i couldn't get it to screw in. So i pried off the bumpers and super glued them. It was awful.

      That sucks, man. I did not have that problem. Their customer service is pretty good, though. They replaced some bars that UPS damaged for me.

    Definitely a good one for the price. Did you get the kickstand with yours?

    • @ClarksvilleBarbellClub
      @ClarksvilleBarbellClub  Рік тому

      Nope, I ordered before they added the kickstand. I'm probably just going to get a 4x4 block to put under it.

      Jack stand for a car works great.

      I've been using a ratchet strap attached to the top so I can hook in and have something to hold during the set. I may have to try the jack stand idea, though!@@flynlow43

      That strap may work best for you. My belt squat arm has a ball joint, so it moves side to side, as well as up and down. I can hook on and take a step or two to the side before I squat. Then just step back over and set it on the jack stand. I have a triceps rope attached to my rack to hold on to. As long as it works, right? Nice video.

      @flynlow43 oh, I bet that ball joint is nice! Being able to step left and right is perfect for the Jack stand hack.
