There is no prepayment penalty after 1 year of loan disbursement for SBI but every other PSBs & private bank charges prepayment penalty. Even if you close it after 3 years

Private Banks offer all retail loan on monthly reducing interest rate while SBI offers on daily reducing interest rate. So a borrower pays less interest amount in the latter case. Prefer SBI if you are eligible. Always.

If you are a new driver go for automatic.
Automatic should be introduced in India much earlier.... Indian roads are narrow and full of traffic and potholes so you will just get frustrated in a minute by switching gears in manual.
Mene pehle SBI YONO se apply kia 8.75% par in principal approval ayi. But branch se follow up call ni aya toh mene RMGB bank se lia 8.6% no processing fee, 1year ke baad koi prepayment charges nahi aur 1year ke andar 1% prepayment charges.
Me Rajasthan ki baat kar ra hu.
Aur process me time bhi jada nahi, Tuesday evening ko apply kia aur Friday ko disburse ho gya. Means 3rd working day me loan disburse.
Total 3 chakkar lagae bas.

Never buy car loans as its depreciating asset. Go for small cars instead of taking loans or do savings until you have enough money . Automobiles company and Banks has tied up to get money out of buyers by giving them loans so easily.

Thanks Sir! I have applied for car loan with HDFC. They came to me with an offer of 8.7% to start with. Do you think this is a good rate? I've tried to negotiate with them today, but havn't been able to make any change.
Edit: Finally closed the deal at 8.5 percent with HDFC and have received the disbursement today. Processing fees have bargained down to Ra. 3K

Push for zero processing fees at least or try with SBI
Got with SBI last year 7.45% with no preclosure charges after 1 year. No processing fee. I think psu banks offer lower rate of interest and may be for salary account they offer no processing fee.
@@bibekbapithis rate is not possible in today's market. Repo rate has increased a lot in one year from 4% to 6.50% so such rates are not available unless you went for fixed rate last year or the year before that

I bought my KIA Seltos through PNB in 2019.
First my ROI was 7.4
After 3 years ROI is 9.9
Bank says it’s due to increase in Repo rate by RBI

My Private banks is offering me at rate of 8.8 and dealer saying 9% in SBI and raising concern that if I process it from bank then I have to roam around them for documentation and other signatures but if they process everything will be done at dealer.
What do you suggest, taking finance from dealer is good or take insurance and finance from outside?
Take loan from your bank, negotiate on insurance
Ask them to match the rate of interest. Don’t worry about documentation if you are salaried and have good cibil score
