Best Quality tutorial. Thank you.
Thank you very much guys, I just replaces my tap and felt good, makes me feel confident and independent as woman :)
I'm about to try this...
@@sitnspin1819 how’d it go
@@Alex-jn1ez It went fine! I followed the instructions no bother :)
@@sitnspin1819 thats good my tap’s been leaking around the base and was replacing it soon this was a bit of relief
It makes you a few ££'s richer not paying a plumber. Who in my experience make it sound like rocket science and as difficult.
Great video tutorial from the good shop!
Made up with myself by following these videos I have managed to fit my kitchen tap woo woo!!! So easy to follow thank youuu
Woohoo, that's wonderful! Well done, we're happy to have been able to help! :)
Technically the service valve should have a flat faced 1/2" on the tap side, rather than 15mm compression end, to prevent damage to the rubber seal on the tap tails.
This makes it look so easy! Thank you, the steps are really simple and the instructions are very clear.
Beautifully explained 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 saved me loads of dosh to spend on other B & Q stuff 👍👍👍
Why does it take three videos?
VERY WELL PRESENTED FROM START TO FINISH
OKAY
NO NEED TO SHOUT
All three vids very clear and confidence building for an amateur like me
What is the name of the metal piece he places on top of the rubber piece to ensure the tap stays in place 00:30
It is a horseshoe metal plate, designed to hold on the horseshoe rubber seal, part of a kitchen tap mounting kit.
Thank you I just removed and replaced my new mixer tap😀
Great! Thanks v much- your videos are so clear and helpful. Appreciate it xox
You're welcome! Glad you liked it 🥰
Great video to follow. Can you please let me know the name of the tool on 0:37-0:43? I need the tool to get my tap fixed firm. Thank you in advance.

What do I do if my flexible connections are leaking? I installed them a few months ago following these instructions and attaching my new tap using flexible pipes to the existing isolation valves, similar to the video. However 6 months on they are now leaking from the part I have connected. Should I tighten some more or undo and try valve tape? Then re attach. Any help would be greatly received! Thank you.
Hi there, you may find some useful information on this in the following video. I hope this helps! 😊

@@bandq hi, thank you. However this doesn't help, my flexible connections are leaking not the tap.
Great clear instructions and advice, thank you both
Great video. Love explanations behind every action
Thanks you best trainer
Important question here as I’m about to fit one of these. The illustration on the box and the vid here shows the tap on the right hand side. The standard position I guess for right handed people, but my wife is left handed. My question is, can the tap be on the front, so accessible to both hands?
Also, it says it operates 180, but testing it by blowing air into it works 360, my existing tap to be replaced lets water out 360. So no info out there, can it be fitted left, right or centre? Obviously I’m not a pro plumber 😬
Great tutorial very well presented and explained, Saved me time and money
Thanks so much, we're glad you found it helpful! 😄
Thanks very much, very helpful
You're welcome 😄
This video was so helpful , its not easy to do under the sink , but i managed thank you guys 🙂
Thank you this was very helpful
Top tip. Some box spanner sets fit all together to make an extra long spanner that is longer than the sink is deep. This allows you to put the bar through the spanner and get a bit move leverage to tighten the tap in place.
Great tip! 😊
Concise and clear. Thank you!
Glad we could help 😊!
Should you use thread tape at the joins?
V helpful , cheers gents
Cheers gonna use this soon
Life saving
I agree wholeheartedly with Des.
