I’m legally blind and this works great for me with its tactile physical buttons and workflow. If Akai would integrate a few more shortcuts (maybe with Shift and the drum pads) this machine would be my own personal Infinity Gauntlet.
not to laugh at being legally blind but have u seen the POP for life video? some dyke chick got arrested and charged as being a get away driver, and her defence was she legally blind, lmao
"Warrants the purchase..." Like that stops people like us😆😆😆 I have a Force and a Live 1 and STILL copped this within days of it coming out. It was worth it off the beauty factor alone!
Dope bruh....ive been wanting that or the Live 2 ....i got the MPC Live when it dropped spring of 2017. I've been making trax since the mid 80s ....lol....believe it or not. I got some dope shit that I'm considering entering in y'alls beat battle. I just don't have a computer to upload my trax to send them in. I'm gonna grab me a laptop hopefully soon so I can get connected with yall✌I appreciate your channel! Keep up the excellent work
I just got one this is my second one i didn't keep the first one long was the red one. However this one that old school look like the old mpc's its dope and the machine does everything im keeping this one!
I’ve Loved all The MPC Machines!!! The 5000 , 1200SP , 3000 and the Mpc Studio Series.... I’m definitely gonna buy this one of these I’m Versatile FL studio and Maschine As Well ....I own Them all It’s Just Something about not Being dependent on and Computer and To Be Able To Make Beats on The Fly With No Strings ( Wires ) Attached !!!!
I've got the gold MPC One, and I'm trying really hard not to buy this one also. I'm like Chris Rock in New Jack City, though. The MPC 2.9 software update allowing for USB hubs to work was a godsend, so I can plug in a 5TB drive for those one off sounds, and my synths. The power bank options are not that bad either: 10 bucks on Amazon for the 5v->9v cord and your phone backup battery, good to go.
According to Akai Australia they dropped the WiFi from this machine cause of the lack of battery this machine is designed to be a stationary DAW in the studio not meant to be a portable production solution.
I just picked up a brand new MPC One Gold from Guitar 🎸 Center for $629 with free shipping & I’m gonna use it with my fully loaded expanded Roland JV-1080 until I learn how to use Ableton live lite I will say that the sounds & loops from the Neo Soul Sunset & the Neo Soul Quest sounds good but I’m in no rush to pay $40 for each of them being that I have a lot of sounds in my 1080 however once I do learn how to use Ableton I’m gonna use the free Spitfire Audio labs vintage Keys plugin along with the Addictive Keys plugin that had came free with my Scarlett 2i2 by the way I don’t know what kind of camera & lens that you’re using but it’s clear as hell on my Vizio Tv so I can imagine what your videos would look like on a Samsung TV
If they put a battery on the ONE... It would have cannibalized the Live II sales... MPC Live would become obsolete. Also... The Lithium-Ion batteries will anyway wear out over time decreasing the portability factor of the Live II. My volts has a battery solution for the ONE which makes the machine truly portable.
Hi everybody , well just a precision about the Price of the" Retro Edition" compare to the " Standart Edition I bought mine Yesterday . i m a French guy who Works in germany were i also bought my "Special edition!" And actualy i noticed no price difference betwen the two version of this instrument i payed about 689 Euro. Like I said both version got the same price. I also compared the Price betwen this both contry, and it is more or less the same price in a range of +/- 20 euros
Dont like the black knobs on the retro. mpcstuff needs to come out with some body matching knobs for this retro edition. Not sure why Akai didnt change the color of the knobs. They did it for the gold edition. SMMFH
Yo Marcus, whether you have heard this by now or not .. Apparently you can just use your phone, connect it by usb and create a hotspot - BOOM, wifi on the OG ONE!
Hold up.. Elbow, the MPC One doesn't have WiFi??? That's crazy bro, and this and the other things as far as storage, and no battery is why it's so much cheaper. To each his own and a lot of people love it and I understand, but I couldn't deal with the smaller pads and the fact that I already have a Live 2 Retro 🙏🏾✊🏾
Yeah, missed chance with the battery. It would have been crazy if it had a built in battery. I just don't understand companies. They also made the MPC Live II Retro edition a limited release. Smh. 🤦♂

Retro Edition Looks sick! definitely looks better than the black version
Yes sir!
Can you use this with the MacBook Pro
No doubt! 🙏🏾👊🏾
@@MarcusElbow oh ok yea I had heard that the live 2 and one wasn’t working with the Apple computer or something
Naw you good brody bro! 🙏🏾👊🏾
Well the live 2 and the one both come in retro colors, what is the main reason you needed a mpc live 2, and an mpc one?
My wife asked the same question 😅🙂
@@MarcusElbow lol
Do you guys know where I can find a good video on how to add my expansion packs from my MPC live
Great content
Nice job! Thanks 😎👍🏼
Is there a limit on the SD card size? The storage has put me off this machine.
I’m using a 128gb card and it’s working fine bro. 🙏🏾👊🏾
Y’all can see I’m just marinating....
That’s the bay right?
Southwest..🙏🏾👊🏾
Instead of a Live 2 Akia should have done a MPC One XL

I get the Chris Rock reference. ❤❤

Retro edition is the same price in Australia $1199.00 - but I was told the included stuff is different between retro and black.
How do you screen share or mirror the MPC One?
when mpc2?

White black is ok. White knobs are looking cheap.
Grey knobs would have been fire....looking at it now since people been pointing it out
Excellent video as usual, I agree with all points (except for the battery). That would of seriously bumped up the price! 👍🏽✊🏽🇬🇧
Facts! I brother can wish it so tho. 😔🥺
Off the muscle😂😂😂 I mean who says that? Enjoyed the video tho👌🏽
Hi my computer don t reconize my mpc one !?
Make sure you update the MPC software based on the MPC you are using with your computer. 🙏🏾👊🏾🙏🏾👊🏾
@@MarcusElbow done ! they are the same but in my computer folder mpc don t appear
I had the same problem bro. You must make sure to download the driver for the specific MPC you have and then it will work.
@@MarcusElbow So after i ll can transfert my project mpc one per usb câble into mpc2 software ?

It actually does the exact same thing as the others just no SSD HD upgrade slot lol
I still own a 2000XL. I’m really eyeballing the Live II Retro…..then I’m DONE buying drum machines. 🤔😆😂🤣
You dont NEED the Wi-fi....you WANT the Wi-fi....you get the Job done with ether
Why do people complain about no wifi???? Makes zero sense to even want that.
@3:00--I will buy the retro BECAUSE it has ethernet connectivity. EMF (5G) = Ill health.

you can buy the retro skin for $67 dollars i believe...
