If you look closely in the laboratory's background, you can see a monitor showing that something has a ×20,071 combo. What kind of monster could have such a combo? Well, theories lead me to believe that it was Fake Peppino. When the scientists were creating Peppino Clones, it's likely that Fake Peppino was the only successful clone as can be seen by the combo counter. Fake Peppino was likely given a series of tests, one of which being him combo-ing opponents. However, he was too smart. After escaping through an air duct or vent during combo testing, Fake Peppino must have killed everyone in the laboratory, resulting in such a monstrously high combo as the counter was still running. It's reasonable to believe that there was only 150-200 enemies in Fake Peppino's test chamber, so the other 19,921-19,871 must have been scientists and other staff members.

Game feel like mix of Addams Family, Boogerman and Magic Dweedo games.
