  • Traps of all types are passive methods of acquiring protein. In an afternoon, a group of people with machetes can build a trap line a couple hundred meters long to catch small animals. Since bait is eaten away by ants and other bugs, the use of a wall is mandatory to attract critters into the snares.

    Now , can those shafts be used for arrows ?

      ckingclosur Those shafts split pretty easily and are not uniformly round. The natives use a species of bamboo or cane to make their arrow shafts.

    I just subscribed. Awesome filmwork and editing. Now I am really gun shy to begin my video series. Great job though. I was in Panama for 3 months in 09. Amazing how similar the culture and ecosystems are.

    Very neat to see how different cultures used "primitive" skills to survive.

    How many trees have you cut by now? Because not to be offensive or mean, shouldn't you be aware of the environment to?

    • @innerbarkoutdoors
      @innerbarkoutdoors  4 роки тому

      If you do your research, cutting and thinning trees responsibly is actually good for the environment/forest/jungle
