Any knowledge drop on the Broiler? Some of your videos discuss broiler, some do not. As someone who reverse-sears steaks a lot, the highest output in a broiler is pretty important to us.
Shopping a new range is exhausting. I have a Thermador dual fuel slide in from 2003 that I had the control panel rebuilt and installed myself. It is on the blink again but I think it is time to call it a day even though it looks new. My concern that I have to investigate is my slide in space has a strip of granite at the wall. I fear the newer slide ins are deeper. I'll deal with all that when I choose. Love this channel. Very helpful. I liked the Bosch, but not the oven size. My current oven is comparable.
@YaleAppliance1 well, to be honest, if I have to do that plus I have to convert the two twenty vote outlet to a 120V. It's starting to look like.Maybe I need to replace the control panel of my old unit again. The part I don't understand is why remove that granite strip and then have to use that piece that they give you to put as a spacer between the oven and the wall. Wouldn't the oven vent from the back without that piece there?
@YaleAppliance1 well I had a moment of hopefulness. But now i'm at an appliance store, and that filler piece is just sitting on the top of the back of the range, it does nothing to change the depth. So I don't know what it's filling
I am confused by the models LSGL6338F vs LSGL6337F I have seen some with a handle on the lower drawer...very confusing. I love the Samsung one with the duoflex oven bit but fear the brand. This is my other choice.
How much control is there on the burner knobs? My Samsung is basically "faux" knobs! With 3 very poor actual flame adjustments and no finite control over the flame. How smooth are the racks? Do they pull out easily or is it like this Samsung, STUCK... and not usable at all? The broiler? Can you switch the heat to broil immediately after baking or do you have to wait until the oven cools down? Are the grates over the gas flames of high quality materials? Or is there a problem with rust after a year? What about the self cleaning option. It's absolutely useless on the Samsung. These reviews are worthless unless they include serious issues and concerns I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of most gas stoves
details!! the quality and control ability of the flame from the controls, the slide capability of the racks… always jerking out the clean ability of the stove, all the faux SS is coming off my very low quality Samsung
This definitely is a great range for the money but btu output is not the only consideration. Wolf ranges have their prestigious reputation for a reason.
Yes, Wolf, Viking and the other high price "pro" ranges have prestigious reputation only because of their high prices. Wolf and Vikings ranges are status symbols, people buy them to impress the Joneses. I'm only interested in how a range performs--up until recently, high output burners were available only in ridiculously over priced "pro" models. LG, Samsung and others now offer this performance so the little people can buy it now.

Bosch and some Samsung models are the only true slide ins......you will have to cut that strip of granite out on the others..probably

@YaleAppliance1 Optional Rear Filler is what they call it, so I think I can get away without it

I manage to finally speak to l g and get straight on those two models. The one with the drawer handle is the older model
If I use the middle grill there’s no room for the large pans on the side and they’re also offset. I don’t understand why the burners aren’t centered.
you never mention the racks, the knobs, how easy is it to clean

This is not a Samsung. Are your concerns about this LG Model?
You never really answered the question in the Title. :(
It is......
Hate it. 2 years old and lock went bananas
Oh hate to hear that
