The front 2 burners are much higher power than the back two (3200W for front left, 4300W for front right, 1800W for the rear ones). They are probably using fans to cool down the much larger coils in the front burners.
It goes away after a few minutes, but one comment said they have the same stove and it doesn’t make the sound. It would bother me if I used the stove. It’s 100% my wife’s territory although the stove was my choice. I purchased the Best Buy 5 year coverage, so I’ll probably swap it out. I don’t know how Best Buy does it, but they honor their warranty plans. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Someone else bought the same stove and commented that theirs didn’t make the sound. You’d think it would be consistent. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Step 1 is making sure you have the correct wattage and outlet. I would have been in a world of hurt if I hadn’t thought that through. The salesman (that was knowledgeable) didn’t give me an early warning. It’s such a new product, I don’t think he knew. That said, induction is a newer product in the US. I’ve been very happy with the purchase. If a friend were willing to pay the higher price point, I’d recommend it. My wife does all the cooking and never complains about it. I’m going to sell my house in 4 years or so, and rent for a year before I retire. I seriously doubt I’ll find a high end rental with induction, it’s a 100% differentiator. Hope the long answer helps. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Also that noise sounds like portable duxtop when the internals are freezing temperatures. goes away in a few minutes using it in a warmed room.

Thanks for watching and commenting. Another viewer commented that they purchased the same stove and the front burners don’t make the humming sound.
thats not normal. mines quiet. I wouldn't turn it on without a pan there but it should be fine.
sound like a fan to cool down the electronics.
4300W is huge.
Great comment. Thanks for watching.
That would drive me insane especially for the price. Have you filed a warranty claim

I've read a lot of negative reviews on the oven... any feed back on the oven?

Pretty sure it's a fan

We just got this same stove a couple weeks ago. It doesn’t make that fan sound for us on the front burners.
@ Hi, Thanks for watching and commenting. I’m glad I purchased a 5 year warranty and super appreciate your comment. I would have never known.
