The truth is that Trump has threatened to place heavy tariffs and countries have reacted. Tariffs are always paid by the country imposing the tariffs. That will be US companies who import food and other items. Yes, there are climate causation on crops but the tariffs have the largest impacts.
I made 20 pints of lard and 15 pints of tallow this past spring to add to what I had made last fall. I plan on making more as soon as I go to the butcher’s, it takes time but it’s so much cheaper than buying it from a store. Freeze your pasta, flour and cornmeal for 5 days then let it set at room temperature for 24 hours and then package it, it will last and you won’t have to worry about bugs. I hope this helps someone 😊
I am going to buy flour tomorrow and corn meal I seen a video that he did and he was saying get flour and yeast. I am getting meal so I can make corn bread lol. America we are going to pull through. Getting the old folks recipes. It work for them it can work for us .
It would be great to have a preparedness video for single seniors living in senior housing where can't use anything like candles or oil lamps that put off smoke...where space is truly at a premium (barely room for own everyday living stuff)....etc.
Tariffs are going to raise the price of countless goods Americans depend on. Just when prices that were raised due to supply-chain disruptions during Trump’s 1st disastrous Covid economy (remember his toilet paper and many other shortages?), just when those shortages are resolved, prices are DOWN, and Biden has stabilized and grown the economy, now Trump is going in for his 2nd term ready to create chaos and extreme inflation due to his idiotic tariff policy. And it’s not only tariffs that are going to wreck Americans’ purchasing power. Guess who provides the farm labor to pick and harvest those fruits and vegetables we want to purchase? We already have a shortage of workers in certain sectors. Who’s going to step up to work in the fields? Maybe Trump will get out there and help pick the fruit when all the workers are gone (like he went to McDonald’s to help flip hamburgers lol). If not, guess what: the price of produce is going way up!
Electronics, lumber, steel, aluminum, Canadian gas, fresh fruits and vegetables from Mexico, gardening supplies… Basically everything that isn’t corn will be noticeably more expensive. Oh. Except Trump will deport half of the American agricultural workforce, so even corn will be more expensive.
As a person who just had a mouse plaguing my house, toilet paper is not as easy to store as you claim. They love to munch on TP. Plus, it's bulky! I'd rather invest in a bidet and reduce the TP consumption.
Just this week I began making my Holiday Italian Sauce and went to three different areas of my food storage to grab my Pasta that I purchased in January for the savings. Every single box has baby worms. 😮 I won't stock it anymore.
@@gillianmallory5176 I’m saving grocery receipts and will look back around June/July to see how things compare…..especially with fruits and veggies if all the migrant workers are gone (regardless of being legal or not), strawberries for $15.00 a pint are just not worth it unless I can pick them. 🍓
Last year I had a back injury that left me impaired as regards after-toilet hygiene. After considerable research I decided to purchase a “HydraWand” “faucet diverter model” to help keep me from unnecessarily straining my back. Within a short time I got used to using it, and it worked well for its intended purpose. There was also a side benefit that became apparent over about a month: I was using MUCH less toilet paper. I have continued using the device because I can set a comfortable water temperature and clean myself effectively and efficiently, in comfort, using less paper.
Last year they said same thing..like with tomato sauce, speghetti sauce, ketchup, most tomato based products, flour, sugar, rice, toilet paper, and more because there was supposed to be this big shortage. I stocked up and there was no shortages of these items.
On what planet?? At the two grocery stores I frequent and a Walmart superstore the most expensive paper towels are still below $6.00 for 2 rolls of the super huge rolls. I get the cheapies and will be looking into reusable “paper” towels that can be washed and reused.
Really? How much are eggs. I live in Northern California and this morning I bought a dozen eggs for 3.57. I really can’t believe you truly can’t afford eggs…

Not just unpredictable weather it is because of this stupid tariff! !!
😋tariffs are a bargaining chip notice Mexico and Canada are now both helping with the boarder. War now there is a trouble for years
No…it’s because of a horrid past 4 years….

Tp is made in the USA
As a person who just had a mouse plaguing my house, toilet paper is not as easy to store as you claim. They love to munch on TP. Plus, it's bulky! I'd rather invest in a bidet and reduce the TP consumption.
I stocked up on rice and pasta. Good filler to expand dinners
Just this week I began making my Holiday Italian Sauce and went to three different areas of my food storage to grab my Pasta that I purchased in January for the savings.

I won't stock it anymore.
I'm going to download this just so I can come back in July and see how well Nostradamus did.
Make a notebook with prices from ur favorite store and compare them in July too

@gillianmallory5176 Good idea.
time to buy more TP
My favorite coffee is Swiss. It's already expensive, but I am able to afford it in my current budget. I fear the price will be out of reach in 2025.
Try store brand coffee… I have several alternatives that taste as good…. Mushroom, chicory root and homemade dates grounds…..all taste the same to me.
Coffee is being hampered by weather, just saw on the news this morning
Good for you. I stop drinking coffee.😅
Stock up .I went to same and got some bathroom tissue, That real big bag. That can really last me a year or longer. paper towels as well.
I got a bidet so i wouldnt have to buy TP. I used that money to get flour and rice

Here from Western North Carolina. Take this video seriously. When ALL of the grids fail, you will need everything he has said. Ask me how I know.
i have a LOT of canned fruit!
If you have water and a shower hose (just like using a bidet), you don't have to worry about running out of toilet paper!
Last year they said same thing..like with tomato sauce, speghetti sauce, ketchup, most tomato based products, flour, sugar, rice, toilet paper, and more because there was supposed to be this big shortage. I stocked up and there was no shortages of these items.
Really get your facts straight dont spread panic.
Do not use flavored coffee ground in compost
Don't have time to watch these long videos. Content creator should post a list in the description.
But then they would not get their $$ from people watching. Usually some kind soul posts a list.
Go to comments. Someone always lists them.
Soap and water are more hygienic than TP
Re: water: Berkey is no longer a product. It is now Boreaux. Been using that for years.
