  • The Toterhome is ready for the 20" roof raise which raises the overall height to an even 12 feet. I got some old light pole posts that I think are gonna look awesome as the rear supports for the roof. Big Thanks to my buddy Kenny for coming down to help. Not going to lie, it was a little sketchy having this huge metal roof dangling over your head and I was happy to have the help. Drop a comment below. Is 20" too much to raise the roof? Was It not enough?

It's a massive project! It was pretty intimidating at first

Just got a better look at your mr2 in this video. My old lexus SC300 race car had the Castrol theme also. Unfortunately, UA-cam won't allow me to post a picture

Great work. Only thing I'd done differently and have plans to do on my bus conversion, would have been to extend roof past the door and ramp up from the old roof line to the new to maybe help with aerodynamics a bit. Besides the obvious front flat windshield, That bus will have a huge flat panel to have to push through the air. Might be creating an unnecessary extra amount of drag when the extra height above the driver seat and entrance isn't really needed. Just an idea for others to consider if reading this and thinking of taking this project on

Definitely positives and negatives to go on each way I considered doing it that way but ultimately the space that I have for living inside the bus is fairly small it's only 14 ft long until you get to the back wall now so I decided with this because it gives me a huge space above the driver's seat to put you know extra cabinetry and a television. Aerodynamics is definitely the downside
