Don't forget that there is a Monarch migration point near Santa Barbara. February is a good time to visit. I know because I did and seeing all of those butterflies was a very cool experience.
@@livinginsantabarbara One of the most intense thunderstorms I was in was in Santa Barbara. Mother Nature really put on a show. The rain came down in buckets.
It’s a fall and winter season with Rincon probably being one of the top and most consistent locations. (But that depends who you are asking of course 😁😉)
They are here - SB residents are really respectful and leave them alone. I am personally terrible at spotting anyone and will only notice if someone points it out to me 😂
@Barb - I see your comment about fires. But for some reason can’t directly respond to it in the comments. I understand the concern. And it is part of our reality here. I think I mentioned it in the video. I can provide more information how that possibly impacts your real estate transaction. Send me an email to katinka.goertz@sothebys.realty
I lived there back in 88'-92' and loved it. However I remember the homeless drug problem was kind of bad on and around State St.. Has this improved any? By the way I love your work. Very informative and up to date. Keep up the good work. 🙏🎁✌🏼🙂
Thank you for your comment 😊 You are right, it is a problem. And had increased during Covid especially. But there are many initiatives throughout the community to get a handle on this situation. Oh how fun! Thanks for your comment. That’s exactly how I ended up moving here from NYC over 12 years ago 😄
After the last couple of weeks Atmospheric Rivers should be added to con list. With more on the way. Hope everyone stays safe !

How much should one makes to live in santa barbara if he makes $150k in michigan?
Probably between $250-300k to keep a comparable standard of living. Of course you can live here with a much lesser income, like many people do.
Have u seen celebrities in Santa Barbara?

@@livinginsantabarbara is it worse then LA?
@@gavip24 No, it’s not. It’s hard to compare the two. But if you look at percentages, LA’s count is quite a bit higher.

Thank you for your comment. Santa Barbara is a very welcoming community 😊
@@livinginsantabarbara It's as friendly as you want it to be. People there tend to go about their day and mind their own business.
