Ball python DIY hide rejected

Monty wasn't very happy that I'd swapped her old hide for a plastic box, it was clear that she rejected it immediately & went into escape/relocation mode. This behaviour may look like inquisitive exploring but in reality it shows she's stressed as she's never out of her hide during the day unless there's a problem. I promptly put it all back the way it was & she's now happily tucked under her little hide. My next diy hide needs to be considerably smaller & have less transparency.

Nice update Eddie! Monty is looking really good, nice to see her active, and stretched out - it's always difficult to get an idea of size with Ball Pythons as they live up to their name & coil into a ball when out of the Viv! Stay safe & well buddy!
