Abscess, Cavallo boots, and our first drive

Have kind of lost track of the timeline now, but he was mostly sound in very short order.I still won't take him on the gravel without his boots for some time though - but years ago, he was totally fine on gravel. Maybe wit age, their bodies change - not sure - but happy that he is not limping, and the hoof looks really good!!
