Independent suspension Cricket
Tonk and I always enjoy test driving one of the Patty's Pony Place, Kelly built, Crickets. The independent suspension is beyond compare. Biased perhaps, but I do love driving them!!

Tonk Panda Drum

Got this wonderful drum for myself - like it a lot, even though I still have not mastered an actual tune on it!! The sounds are very soothing, just touching them randomly though, and my Tonk agreed! A very special moment with him, and I will keep working on that drum!!

A little drive on our trail, and our new pup, Tilly, comes along for the first time since we got her. Just three weeks ago now, and the weather finally co-operated enough for us to drive. Fun stuff to have her along, though Tonk was indifferent to her presence. He is kind of a loner!

So love the sound of "these" sleigh bells! Have actually never been a big fan of them in general, but I found some I like, and made my own bell straps for them. All Christmassy, and shiny, of course!!

Our second go at agility - and another second place finish. Very happy with how the dude handles all of this - ten years of being a stellar driving/working horse, I think might have something to do with it. He is such a willing and game little guy.

My "yearly" tandem drive with the two best little gems!! Tonk remains solid on the wheel, and Tank, well, at almost 30 years old, he does pretty good!!! We did finally have to put a bit of a check on him though, as even old grass, is far too tempting for him - we don't blame him either! Good little fellas they are, good little fellas.

The cart was designed and built by hubby, head builder at Patty's Pony Place - pattysponyplace.com I had the cart for five years before letting it go to a new home. Loved it a lot for all those years. Not a "state of the art" cart like he can build, but it sure served me well!!

30??! He moves like an eight year old! I would never have guessed his age, he's in FANTASTIC condition!
Indeed on that! We do our best with their care - he has had a few rounds of belly upset in the last couple of years, but so far so good on being able to pull him through. He is one of the most amazing little horses we have met - honored to have him!! My Tonk too of course, but Tank is a special fella!!
What I do is double a couple freezer bags, put the hoof in and pour the solution in the bag, then tie the bag around the ankle. Let it soak for about 15 minutes. Then apply the intex pad and wrap it. Keep doing that every day until it's all drained out. Then I will follow that up with a Clean Trax soak. Works great .🤠 Works better than fighting with a bucket.
Thank you for that info! I dropped out the bucket after this! I had actually never tried to put his foot in a bucket before this, so in hindsight, might have considered that! I will look up the Clean Trax - thank you again!
Clean Trax is a great product. It will penitrate the hoof wall and clean out all the infections without damaging tissues.

Oh yes, Rolie is the most athletic mini we have! Flying lead changes, are a breeze for him!!
