Hello bro, thank you for the support!
I use it because I like the cannons sound and I think it’s more clear, but for air it’s not very good mode (for me at least). Also, you need to keep in mind the engines sounds will change and it will take time to differentiate.
I might remove it bc I couldn’t get use to it.

and does the su-27 / mig-29 get any of those fire and forget lock AGMS?
Yes, they’re called the Kh-38T
The MiG-29SMT has the ability to carry 2xKh-29TE missiles which are fire and forget missiles but with 30km range and can carry 2xFAB500 guided bombs.
For the su-27 it doesn’t get any.
Old Russian fighters typically don’t have the multirole capabilities as in US aircraft’s
