Guys, thanks for an interesting vending machine tour! Yes, fall is here in okinawa. Today was 25c or 77f. in the evening, it will be 65 degrees f. Not quite light jacket weather. Take care guys!
That was very interesting. There is a flight food vending machine in Haneda, I believe. Perhaps it is possible to buy a couple packs and then ask a flight attendant warm it up for you on a long international flight? Food quality in the economy class went down so much recently.
Hi Shinichi, that coq au vin looked really nice, were the noodles more like fettuccine, or more like Asian egg noodles? I liked the look of the chicken rice and the paella as well, and I would definitely try to get some of these meals for a snack.
Whoa! What a great and intriguing idea 💡. Shinichi, I totally agree with you that the "Coq au vin" is my favorite. Question: why doesn't your microwave have a turntable in it to evenly heat the food. Does it heat it in a different way? Thanks. Have a great week and please say hi to Satoshi 😊.
When you said “it looks & smells like a real inflight meal” I thought - so burnt plastic with a tinge of sadness and disappointment? These look better than most North American inflight meals (definitely better than anything the airline I work for serves in economy class). I appreciate the video, but I would have better ways to spend ¥5,500 if I had a layover in Tokyo 😅
なに? I think I may have one of the idea’s on why it declined after 2 years, the location is roughly out of the way and not too many people would go. Now, this place would be on my bucket list to go.
The portion size looks just right for me (a small female), but I bet most American guys would need two or three of these meals to be satisfied. They do look good for a quick, convenient meal, though. Sassuga Japanese ingenuity in "instant" food preparation. ʻ
These vending machine collections remind me of the old 1940s Automat restaurants in the United States. Airplane meals without any crying kids or lost luggage!
I especially appreciated the views of Toyko from your balcony. Thank you for sharing that. And the Coq Au Van sounded very good to me. I enjoyed this video. Nice mix of Toyko view and interesting vending machine food.
I'll give this a go next time. Being on a plane is a miserable experience for me most of the time, so I avoid eating usually. Assuming it's close enough to the same thing, I'd be interested in knowing how the food actually tastes without my taste buds being all weird while flying lol. Did the machines offer heating options or you can only bring it home to heat it up yourself?
These machines only dish out frozen food so you’d have to take it home to warm up. I like how each package comes with ice to keep the food from defrosting on your way home
Thank you for that beautiful view of the sunset and Mount Fuji that was stunning.🗻 There's so much variety in those vending machines you could eat there everyday and not get bored.😊
Not to sound critical but it would have been nice to see some of the shops in that area while you were going to the machines. Love finding and exploring places like that every time I visit Japan.
Use my code TABIEATS for $15 off your first Bokksu Japanese snack box! partner.bokksu.com/tabieats
i really considered Bokksu and even looked it up cus it looks pretty awesome, but they're simply way too expensive
@@flannelpillowcase6475 I know, I've also looked it up as well.
10:40 Nen!! I'm from Spain 🇪🇦 and this is not paella 🥘 for sure 🤣🤣🤣
I'm curious about how a Chicago pizza would be from a vending machine....
It'd probably smell like a bum's nutsack, that's for damn sure.
I never knew you could get airline meals from vending machines! So interesting! I'll have to try it out next time I'm in Tokyo! 🍽️✈️

I was so glad to see this video.
I appreciate this format.
Thank you from Lakeside Oregon, USA.
🙋🏻♀️
I am so envious of all your vending machines in Japan! 😤😅We don't have anything here in Denmark that comes close, not even a little. 😣
Cheesecake sandwiches! Obviously I’m living in the wrong hemisphere. 😊

I agree with you on economy class meals quality going down
That was really fun. I want to come to Japan just for the vending machines. Not really but they look terrific. I would eat any of those. Yummmm
Coq au Vin looks sooo Good. The Hainanese Chicken / Singapore Chicken looks good also.
In the intro, my 1st thought was wow that looks like good quality Airplane food. (business class)
I 💖 Vending Machines in Japan.

Its traditionally egg noodles
People usually try to avoid airplane style food 😂 thank you for your service

That sort of microwave is called a flatbed microwave, they give a more uniform cook to the food than a turntable unit.
Always enjoy your videos good sir ❤❤❤
i want to try that chicken in red wine sauce :o
阿佐ヶ谷だね😀👍
Happen to be having some chicken and rice, Texas style, as I watch this 😋
woah nice not sure how they got those inflight meals but that looks tasty
They'll have gone to the same supplier that airlines use, it's not like microwave meals are a hidden item
@@labtec514 ahh I get it I just didn’t know originally where they got it from lol

I want that bag!
I like how the vending machine logo is a gorilla dressed like a stereotypical black hip-hop artist.
I like the coq au vin to.
I'm wondering what do you do with all that packaging? Is any of it recyclable? 😮

They all looked good
👀Always enjoy watching you eat delicious food throughout Japan-STAY SAFE wherever you go!🤙⚡️
It is airplane food. They heat it up the same way

Second :) these food are very delicious
Early
I am deeply upset that someone would choose to eat aeroplane food in the first place, and even more upset you spent ¥1100 each
These vending machine collections remind me of the old 1940s Automat restaurants in the United States.

I have always wanted to go to Japan and my wife will die whem i tell her I want to eat vending machine food when we are there!

I absolutly like this packages, NOT. Y so much plastic? Plastic around plastic around plastic food in plastic. Japan is insane with packaging.
Yeah, it's not like back in the US where we never EVER use plastic for food. Give me a fucking break.
The view from your home was beautiful thank you for sharing❤
These look like kids meals tbh....
Second to last one with the noodles
very interesting
I got same taste as you, but mine is by video !
👍
Loved the little peak outside your lanai. Something about the Tokyo skyline that I really enjoy seeing.
fancy meals at the vending machine i liked the french meal that looked awesome pretty sunset thanks for sharing that
I would have loved to have seen the cheesecake sandwiches ❤
Always great to see you post!
edit: also - very cute sushi tote!
Haha glad you like the tote. Got it from Hawaii Uniqlo shop.
