- I'm sharing a beautiful vintage buffet I found recently and how I styled it in my home. I'll take you through the process of how I painted it. I'll also share ideas for a Victorian-inspired makeover of my living room + fireplace room.

Giving used furniture a new look with paint is an inexpensive way to furnish a space. And no one would know! It is so fun finding high end decor and beautiful antiques for less. Ohhh goodness.. that buffet is gorgeous!! Mmmm the dresser is stunning❤ I shall not covet!😑🙏. . lol girl i love them both!! I can see why that's you favorite piece of art! She's beautiful! I love all your art or photos/prints.The Victorian style art is my fav to collect.. the women were just so elegant & their clothing was just amazing.. the big hats and stunning dresses! And I love the children & babies too. The men we very handsome, daper men. The piece over the fireplace really is a beautiful piece. The cherub lamps are beautiful too. i just love old lamps! I've always said that I would love to own a sofa like that one..i remember my old granny had a red one when I was a little girl. I loved snuggling down in it in front of the fireplace and looking at her family photos and cards she'd received for different occasions. Or watching sitcoms with her on her little 19" black & white t.v. I was between 6-9yrs old and she was in her 80's and that was in the early '70s.. imagine those photos!! She was a tiny little woman with solid white hair, always had on a apron and lived in this big white farm house with a long front porch, swings at both ends, blue & purple hydrangeas at both ends & 4 huge pecan trees out front! There was a huge fireplace in every room & really tall ceilings... ohhh i just loved spending time with her! I think that's when i first loved old furniture. Hers was beautiful! i loved the red couch like your white one, long dining table, oversized high back chairs, iron headboards & big wood rockers! She never bought anything modern, had running water inside but still had an outhouse! And yes she had a chamber pot by her bed😁 Love the cherub vase. I have a similar cherub candy dish. i love that room so much, the buffet looks so good! I want one of the chandeliers, its on the list of wants! I just love ALL the pieces.. everything about this room.. and again, i shall not covet😑🙏 ughh its just gorgeous girl!!! I'm Obsessed❤ thank you for sharing your stunning room with us, i never get tired of seeing it😊 I get so excited, i get very long winded🫢🫣 Have A blessed weekend!

I found vintage lead crystal candle holders. Where do you find tall candles that burn away instead of making a mess?
The lead crystal candle holders sound so pretty. The tapered candles are from Michaels.
