I'm from the south of Brazil and I loved getting to know your customs...here we have Expointer...more or less what you showed, copied, inspired by you Americans, thanks a hug 🤗
Oh Wow!! I had to look that up, yes, it's an agricultural show, that's awesome!! Goes to show you that even though some customs and people are different, there are always similarities!! Thanks for watching and commenting!! I appreciate it!
Only 47 minutes in, but this is the best in depth video of the fair that I have ever seen. You noticed that the 4H animals switched places with the old tractors and open class animals. The old cement duck ponds were filled in for the turkeys. It's also a new ride company. October 14th is the Giant pumpkin weigh off at Park's garden center on Western Reserve Rd. Canfield. You will see pumpkins over 2000 pounds and possibly a new world record which is getting close to 3000 pounds.
Hey thanks for watching and sending the positivity! I honestly don't go every year (some years it just isn't possible) but yes!! things have moved around!! I did see the information about the pumpkin weigh off. Thanks again for watching and commenting, I appreciate the support!
@everydayadventureswithjim you are welcome. Thank you for all the videos you do about Youngstown. My heart is still there.😍😍.I know parts of it are in rough shape but I am hopeful it won't go under.LONG LIVE THIS GREAT WONDERFUL CITY.
I think I still have pictures somewhere of it! I remember spending more time trying to get out of the parking space than I wanted to because it was so big!! lol.
The carnival that plays the fair is a family owned carnival that has been in the carnival business since 1896 owned and operated by the same family, the Reithoffer family
Thanks for watching and commenting! The Reithoffer family actually has a pretty great history, love the fact that they had a steam driven carousel as a very first ride! As far as the video I was just stating that they were new for the Canfield Fair. Thanks again!!
@@everydayadventureswithjim I actually retired from the carnival business 5yrs ago and live up here now I was with the show for 25yrs they are a great family and treat their help like family there are many employees with over 10yrs on the show
