Here’s the good news, I just purchased this jaw dropper. She’s coming to FL to continue the careful preservation…..she will be ridden and appreciated. Joins a stable of sweet machines!
That brings back memories. Miss mine .Has a 4-1 Bazzini Pipe and sounded perfect! The guy I sold it to was The right guy to buy it. I could tell he appreciated it as much as I did.
1981. I was 26 and almost one year married. I had the lesser machine CB750K which I bought damaged and brought it back. The CB900F was not sold in our country, but we knew about it, and we all wished upon a star. Family and buying bikes in my country don't work too well. That's a needle in a haystack Ken ! It will go soon ! Regards. Trinidad & Tobago. West Indies.
@@hayabusa_guy Ha...right on! I'm also 'freshening up' my 82 CB900F here in NorCal that's been in my parents' garage since I graduated in '84. I only wish I would've thought to have covered it though. It's silver/blue & mostly stock except for carb kits & a 4-into-1 Supertrapp header. Cheers!
Another beauty! The guy who taught me how to ride back in 1986 had the fully faired CB900 Bol d'Or. He rode from Perth to Melbourne and back on it, that's a 7000km / 4350 mile round trip!
Much agreed, my Judas Priest Loving Brother. Most beautiful one that I've ever seen. Makes me truly regret selling my 2007 Honda 919 Hornet Naked Bike, bought new in 2009, all stick, with the Glory Red Paintjob. Bike was fast as hell, and pulled like a slingshot. Oh well. I was atleast blessed enough to buy an amazingly gorgeous 2 stroke Yamaha RZ 350z 1985 model from Ken, that they restored. Vintage Yamaha yellow and black, with the black and white vintage block vintage graphics. If you're on FB, brother, feel free to send me a friend request on there under Sonny Seabury. Just please send me an inbox, reminding me where I know you from. Lol...Take Care, Brother.
Oh shit! I didn't see the part where you bought the RZ350! Those are possibly my favorite bikes of all time. My buddy had the yellow/black in the 80's and every one was in awe of that thing, I love those old yamys
@ELECTRIC EYE I know what you mean, brother. I truly miss it. Like Ken says, when I first say that Red 919 in the shop.....It had me at hello. Lol..That salesman knew he had a sale. Lol...Damn Shame, Brother.....That all of the Jap Moyorcycle Makers, these days, have Naked Bikes that look spaceage, or like they could be in a space movie. Lol..Kids, these days, have different taste, much different 🤣🤣....There are streetbikes out on the road, that look like they could have been in the 80's, spacelike movie, Tron. Lol
hello from Ukraine. I wanted to know your opinion. you have a lot of experience. there is no one to turn to, on which model of Harley, on the evo, the most vibrations?) for me this is very important. Thank you
I had one identical to this new in 81, I'm trying to remember if my wheels were silver or black? At any rate I took em off & sprayed em gold. Pretty outrageous for 81. Lol
@@richardmorris7063 hi the only ones that came silver were the 1979 CB 750 F besides having them in the 900 F version lately and I have the factory brochure for both years an both came black and polish edges
Honda 919 Hornet Naked Bike? Just curious, since I bought a 2007 Honda 919 Hornet, new, in 2009, in Glory Red. Words can't describe how much I truly miss that bike, and highly regret selling it. It was very fast. Years ago, when I still had her, I was riding on the interstate, got her up to 135 mph, and surprisingly she was still pulling very hard, like a slingshot, with the bike being totally stock. Take Care, Brother.
@@sonnyseabury4051 That's the one! Crazy underrated bike. Instead of the z900rs you can get an old 919 and have around the same amount of horsepower. I bought a 2003 in 2015 with 26000 miles. It has over 38,000 miles and it still running like a top.

Do you still live in Trinidad and Tobago? I have a 1982 CB900F here right now that I am presently building.

You can always tell when someone loved there motorcycle!
one of my old dream bikes I love it.
I used to have the blue and gray model. I miss it so much!
That bike's a cherry, mint, and fun to ride all day - NICE.

@@sonnyseabury4051 Yup, alot of new bikes out there look like 💩, some are ok. I had an 87 GSXR 750, dual headlight, white, red black - what a weapon
Hard to believe the tail section could look better, but the Corbin seat sets it off... Such an aggressive profile
Corbin seat is badass.
This looks the business!!!!
I had the silver and blue model great bike
Absolutely beautiful bike would love to come out and visit you guys keep up the amazing work
That is one sick, gorgeous, and fast bike. Gorgeous and jaw dropping paintjob. Looks brand new. Definitely worth shipping from Alabama to Y'all.
Every bike that you show I would love to have
That paint job is elite!
Old enough to remember when they came out. That’s a beauty.
Those Comstar wheels look so damn good
My best friend has this exact model. Fantastic bike with insane pulling power. Very fast
My dad has exact same not running but got it to start up but we’re gonna full restore it then it’s mine
Clean, smooth , crisp very nice 👍
i recent bought a 2003 CB900F i love the bike
I love this bike! I bet it’s a blast to ride.
I used to have one. Wish I still had it 😔
Very nice bikes 👍
Unbelievable, all that tech in 1981/discs/alloys , the lot 😮
Love the rims.

Sportster is rigid mount so vibrates the most, and any of the evo softail all vibrate much more than rubber mounted flh fxr or fxd
@@KaplanCycles thanks for the answer) you are cool, I love watching your videos!
I've seen some striped a little different, I bought that exact bike new in Florida for 3300$. Great bike.
Ah yes, the comstar wheels! My cousin's CX500 had these on it.
I owned this bike in Silver/Blue. This bike is probably most responsible for the death of the CBX. Same performance. Better handling.
I had an 81 and an 82 and both bikes came with constar black and aluminum wheels
