Great reaction. This is a fun song ... no surprises as Electric Callboy are good fun. It is a straight 50-50 collaboration, but it is very much in the EC style. BABYMETAL are so versatile that they can blend in with anybody they choose to collaborate with - it takes a lot of talent and hard work to make it look so easy.🦊 This collaboration was actually BABYMETAL's idea - they were wanting to make a song that would be pure fun, one that people could dance along with like Electric Callboy's 'We Got The Moves' but they felt something was missing. They decided to ask EC if they would like to be involved so they went to see EC playing in Boston (they were both there at the same time last year) and met up backstage with them before the show. 'RATATATA' was the result. Both bands play this song in their own concerts, but they have performed it live together 8 times so far as well. The crowds love it.🤘 In May BABYMETAL organised their own festival in Japan, Fox_Fest. Electric Callboy was one of the bands they invited to play and on both nights Kevin and Nico from EC joined BABYMETAL on stage to perform 'RATATATA'. At Rock im Park and Rock am Ring in Germany and at Resurrection Fest in Spain BABYMETAL joined EC during their set, Kevin and Nico returned the favour in the BABYMETAL sets so the crowd were treated to it twice each day.
🪩 ❤❤ 🦊 🔌 That's Momometal (Momoko Okazaki) the newest BABYMETAL member, with an "Are you ready?" growl and joining in with the "Everybody!" growls. The members refer to this as showing her fangs. : )
I didn’t know that the “fu fu!” thing in Japanese karaoke culture until my wife sung a song during our visit to Tokyo earlier this year. Now it’s in this song!
if this collaboration doesn't get you dancing, nothing will . their fans are loving it on the festival tours, and if they at the same festival, its even better they perform it together at each others set . BabyMetal with EC and Nico and Kevin with the girls and their backing band the Kami band 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. There were many mosh / circle pits over there 🤣. On Day-1, the girls and Nico / Kevin hugged each other (then group hug) to celebrate the success of the live debut (heartwarming!!) ★ You can find the official LIVE video in UA-cam !! Now the two bands are palying this song respectively with EC band in EC shows and with Kami Band in BM shows, in two ways. In addition they did it together on the same stage in three European festivals 💛。
Thank you for the big energy kick to start my day! I love Electric Callboy, and I think you'd love their other music! Nice introduction to Babymetal too!
You'll love Hypa Hypa and We Got The Moves by Electric Callboy. There's also a behind the scenes video for Ratata and the love of discoball motor helmets ^^ Thank you for all the nice videos!
👍An awesome performance by 2 amazing bands. Love Su's shot in the famous John Travolta’s 'Saturday Night Fever' pose, so cool. Great reaction. 🦊 🖖❤ Suggest: Babymetal - Monochrome (PIA Arena 2023 Live) Eng Subs
Great reaction! For more Electric Callboy start with Hypa Hypa, then We Got the Moves, Pump It, Spaceman, Tekkno Train, Hurrikan, And Everytime We Touch.
Well, it's been a minute, hasn't it? I would have thought you would be wanting MUCH more BABYMETAL in your lives. 😁 An epic collab to be sure, and an incredible song; it sounds like it could be in a Disney animated musical. And the "ooha- ooha" part brings to mind the anniversary party in Fix-it Felix's apartment in the movie "Wreck-it Ralph" ("Fix-it Felix, ooha-ooha"). 😁 I try to urge people relatively new to BABYMETAL to start from BABYMETAL's beginning and see how they have progressed to now - see where they’ve been before getting caught up in where they are - and react to their first two music videos, "Doki Doki Morning" ( ua-cam.com/video/cirhQ8iLdbw/v-deo.htmlsi=k84SUx4P01t9M5ic ) and "Iine!" (pronounced "E-nay") ( ua-cam.com/video/qVdBBOpSoN4/v-deo.htmlsi=rNZ3yF8RGVdzBZmS ), both released in 2012. I'm sure you will find both very entertaining. It is my opinion that, until you’ve seen their earlier work, you haven't really experienced BABYMETAL. There is a playlist on UA-cam, "BABYMETAL Top Twenty" ( ua-cam.com/play/PLdhz2aj0pt4zPl0BZLevPUR9uHKQA27uj.html ), that includes these two music videos, and it includes both music videos and live performances that are more or less in historical order. Keep rockin’ BABYMETAL!!! KITSUNE UP!!! 🤘🦊🤘
Babymetal produces what I call Eurovision songs and this collaboration is something that could actually win this weird song contest and I say it absolutely positively!
BABYMETAL does not produce Eurovision songs whether you call them that or not. Simply not the case. Electric Callboy, on the other hand, have a distinct Euro-pop- flavour.
I think you mistook BABYMETAL for Electric Callboy. Electric Callboy even tried to get to represent Germany in Eurovision but ultimately did not get chosen unfortunately.
Electric Callboy are the most entertaining & joyful band in the world right now, Germans have not put out a bad song in last 3 years and live shows just a massive rave of metal & EDM riffs!! 😆🤘
Yes and the conditions that they had when they finished the Song. They were about two weeks before FoxFest, Babymetals own japanese Festival and suddenly they got a Report we are nearly finished. Then everyone had to get busy. Electric Callboy had for the Video nearly no Budget and no script, but they started filming when Babymetal took a train. Two days later they finished the Song and added two Scenes: The big Love Scene between Su and Nico and Kevins Wire play.
Don't know why you keep talking about a "big love scene between Su and Nico" when there is no such thing. I really hope it's just some mistranslation from your part:D

And so it was written,… that disco metal went global!
the way kevin turns around at the end is so cool.
Perfection!
Fu! Fu! Fun times for all when EC and Babymetal get together! 🤘🦊

I need to enjoy your reaction videos with BABYMETAL. Thank you from Japan!
This song is now a staple part of both bands live setlists and it always goes off! The live music video filmed at FOX_FEST is worth a watch.
Definitely watch this!
EC is pure fun! You should check out "Hypa, Hypa", "we got the moves", "Everytime we Touch"..
I recomended Electric Callboy. Hypa Hypa, Pump ip, Spaceman , we got the moves
Thank you for the big energy kick to start my day! I love Electric Callboy, and I think you'd love their other music! Nice introduction to Babymetal too!
They are also ready familiar with Babymetal. BxMxC was their first reaction in 2020.
"I need more Electric Callboy in my life" - we all do. Start off with Hypa Hypa.
You'll love Hypa Hypa and We Got The Moves by Electric Callboy. There's also a behind the scenes video for Ratata and the love of discoball motor helmets ^^

Ohh my, just noticed your first Babymetal reaction is now already 4 years ago.

Yes, only when they shot the Video Babymetal realized, that this was a japanese speciality , the "fu fu" from the japanese Karaoke scene.
Epic!
Fu Fu 🦊🦊🦊
EC are the living proof, that we Germany lack any sense of humor!
Hay una banda japonesa de chicas llamadas NEMOPHILA que hacen unos covers de bandas de rock que son alucinantes 👍🤘❤️
